I was just wondering about that.... I saw timing hit 41 degrees and the highest the map goes to is 38. Good to know. Now I just need to define this new table.

Good thread, I'm always looking to improve mpg

I think that it would be useful if we dial in everyone's comparison at a known speed or engine rpm.

It might be of help to include any of the critical mods and or parts that will effect fuel economy and some notes, so we can make comments about the state of tune or anything else worth mentioning. Please be honest with your mpg too.

Something like this....

I get 30mpg when I'm driving at 3000rpm but only 26mpg when driving at 3500rpm.

CAR = 05 MR w/ 6speed
TURBO = stock
IC & PIPING = stock
FUEL PUMP = stock
FUEL INJECTORS = stock
EXHAUST = stock
ADDITIONAL MODS = ECUFLASH, K&N air filter
NOTES = not all that happy with my low fuel trims, 108-119's

Anyone know which Open Loop Load or Throttle table controls the egr solenoid?

Running egr in open loop might significantly cut fuel consumption if leaned just before combustion goes goofy. Several degrees of spark advance will help the miss too

your best bet is to read the whole enchilada.
As I said, it can put you in open loop full time and from there you can choose the afr you want. Once you have the open loop part done you go into the fuel map and change those low load cells.

I would like to try the open loop mod, but still rinning the stock cat, so I tried this...

I just added 3* to my HOI maps from 2000-6000 in the 30 - 50 as well as add a few * all the way up to 120 load, not every cell, just to smooth things out a bit, and logged this morning. Cant say that I felt any difference, as I didnt really hit anything past 34%tps but I only saw 1 count of knock randomly... (4 logs)
Good idea!
