Keep up the good work guys. Sounds like we made a sound decision to wait on the opensource programming.

Thats super dope its a 3d table, instead of 2d.

I have a semi-on topic question given the context of this thread. Will it be possible to clone an ECU? Meaning, I buy an ECU for an EvoX, reprogram whatever code is required to make it function in my car, and then swap out my stock unmodified ECU, for the modified ECU?

OR, if there is a flash counter in the EvoX, which has been speculated previously, will it be possible to overwite that checksum?

why would you want to buy another ecu? your stock ecu is flashable i dont understand the need for you to do that?

Its not the ECU, its usually the components that are directly connected that cause limitations. But we are far from that when it comes to the X.

Yep, I will be getting a CAN/Openport cable for my Suby. Sorry I can't help with the Evo X stuff. We'll see what happens when the AWD Ralliart comes out, I might end up getting one. IMO an intelligently modded Ralliart is going to kill the Evo X as a DD.

To really get at all the tables and understand their purpose, we need to be able to disassemble the ROM. Neither myself nor any of the usual suspects I've talked with have been able to successfully disassemble the ROM. I'm sure it will happen, but getting into the ROM is not quite as easy as I expected.

Sorry, hadn't looked at it yet. I'll check on that 2-byte variable this evening.

no probs mate, if you get the time, can you see if there is a table to remove the timing limit too (so we can get it to go more than -10°).

And any other tables that might be lurking in there (don't want much do I)

I've had a go with ida pro, and I get lost with it very quickly
