Can you post up the boost enhancement address that are wrong? Maybe some of us made an adjustment we shouldn't have and need to change them back to remove the knock issue.

I noticed that after I deleted the boost enhancemen junk from my XMLs i started getting all kinds of knock.

 

I am using 1.4 for the 1byte load factor and hitting 350 load. This is running 33 psi. How do you get around boost cut? I only hit this around 4500-4800 in 4th gear, everytime she completely hits a wall then comes right back. Logs show a hit of 10 knock then it fades away as boost comes back.

Thoughts?

 

why don't you up your boost limit....?

 

increase the boost limit timer...

 

My boost cut load limit is at 319 and my boost timer is 1000ms. If I move the timer to 10000ms, that should work? Can the load limit be raised past 319 and the ECU will understand. IF so I will raise to 375 or so.

 

319 is the max.

you can "override" the 319 max limit by increasing the timer...

Well i have a buddy throwing a p0037 code with 5.10 and the rear o2 sim enabled. First time i have ever had a problem. I cannot figure out if this is for the heater (bad o2) or if something is up. Any ideas?

Newbie question. I have tried to search some kind of tutorial about applying tephra patches and any other relevant info, but didn't succeed very well. In particular I only needs answer to question that can I apply tephra mods to stock rom? To be specific I would only need the o2 simulator. So If I apply the xml changes to ecuflash rom metadata and disable all the other options except the o2 simulator, would that work? Or do I need to copy something to the stock rom? Is it even possible to do things this way or is it always so that I copy stuff from stock rom to tephra modified rom?

 

no u need to run the enclosed rom (in the zip).

but you can disable any options you dont require/want/need

you cant just run the new xml against your current rom

 

I just downloaded V5.10, and now have an issue
According to my boost guage I'm running aprox 23-24 PSI.
With the new patch, as soon as it reaches that PSI, brick wall...fuel cut.

I've checked boost Cut load...all set to 290....exactly like my original flash
I've checked Boost cut delay....set to 1000.....exactly like my original flash

As far as I can see, everything else is copied correctly.

Any help would be appreciated.
For now I flashed it back to my original(pre tephra mod) and it's working properly.
I'm new to all this so please be patient...lol

boost cut delay has to be maxed out, 1000 is incorrect, no matter what it was before.

 

what load are you actually hitting?

 

According to the log, this is what it was showing at the time of the cut
Load Calc = 244.01
Load MUT2= 241.56

Again, I'm new so hopefully this is what you're looking for.

**edit*** I might reflash it and go do another log. Just to verify I'm seeing this at the right section of the excel sheet.
