I can log the ZT2 via Mitsulogger and the Zeitronix software perfectly fine. It will not work with EvoScan and also causes all the normal EvoScan logs to read randomly.

Also, EvoScan doesn't seem to read load properly regardless, it normally reads very low (max 160).

I'm having a very strange issue. I have used the TephraMOD before on my ECU successfully but for some reason now, I can't get some of the features to work on my car. I have tried the original NLTS+Valet+Knock Light Patch, 5.10, and V6, and none of them work correctly. After manually patching over the XMLs at first, I am now using "fostyou's" prepatched V5.10 rom. I installed both the ECUFlash and EvoScan components, and when I open up ECUFlash all the tables for the mods show up. I made all the parameters correct and flashed it onto the ECU with no problems reported. However the NLTS, knock light, and Valet features do not function correctly. 2 byte load however, does. I am not sure what to do as I have tried everything I could think of, reinstalling and uninstalling, test writing, using fresh maps, and nothing can get all the features to work despite some functioning and me seeing no problems in ECUFlash.

Reinstall Beta19 yes this is because EvoScan was choosing the wrong FTDI cable for ecu logging, it was thinking the wideband was teh car ecu, and thought the op1.3u cable was the wideband, this has now been fixed. try latest version.

 

i try to copy and paste the info from the v5 to the 0015 rom id and it wont let me save it. keeps telling me to make sure the name and path is right or something.

this is on vista 64. anyone with a little help?

 

right click on the file you have stored on your computer. go to:

properties> security>
click "edit" under "change permissions".

select the "group" or "user name" you're currently using.

be sure all boxes under the "allowed" section are checked. you may need to check the "full control" box.

now you can edit the file. i have to do this pretty much EVERY time i try to edit a rom file. it's annoying.

i'm assuming it means get rid of tables 2 and 3 'cause only 1 will be used.

but all i see is this:

Ok, maybe I'm late in the game and tried to sort through all these threads for the answer...but I can't find the 94170008 rom for this Mod.

Is there a new rom i need to convert to, and how do I convert my 94170008 to the new ROM?

Also, I've been reading about the TephraMod table in EcuFlash that has multiple screens (namely the map on the fly mod). I only have three colums in my TephrMod table, and it has nothing to do with the map on the fly mod. Just rev limit switching, flashing CEL on knock, and valet mode.

am I doing something wrong, or did I miss something?

i think i'll leave this up to a tuner. i'm way too far behind the curve on this one. it's impossible to learn anything unless you have someone right next to you pointing stuff out. getting answers via the internet is proving to be pretty tough 'cause nobody wants to answer the "noob" questions.

easiest way out of it to ask someone with the same rom id to send you the tephra xml and then you just map it to suit.

Open it in excel or open office

 

Install Notepad++. It's the Notepad that Windows should have shipped with in the first place. It gives a visual display of line number, and does syntax highlighting (so the colors go screwy when you have a mistake in an XML document, for example).

To your specific problem: like 464 is probably very close to the end of the file. You probably just have one screwed up XML tag somewhere (forgot a closing tag, made a typo on a tag, or pasted a set of tags in the wrong place, that kind of thing).
