IAC Maps & limits

I was wondering what are the names of the maps, tables & limits that allow control of the iac / stepper motor / idle controller?

I beleive there are different values during cold running & normal operating temps.

I see where you can ask for a desired idle rpm, but this just asks for a rpm & the iac is limited / restricted elsewhere within the software.

i am coming from a aem ecu & it was really striaght forward there, with regard to where the iac positioned itself vs. water temps, decel / coasting / start-up, etc.

TIA

I'm not sure which info you're looking for ... there are several ISCV maps ... some are 2D and simply ISCV vs coolant temp, and one is a 3D table that seems to be load and TPS based. Most of the time, the car references the 3D table.

Changing the "Idle Stepper Look-up Table" x-axis scaling to temperature makes a lot more sense and the values look more meaningful. The address for the x-axis in the 94170015 ROM also matches the other engine temperature table addresses in the xml file.

Although I am pretty new to ECUflash, so I could be way off.

Edit: The x-axis address actually matches thex-axis of the "Air Temperature Compenstation" table in the fuel drop down.

Do some searching. There are maps related to targets, engine temp, air temp, error trim, post start and decays, and almost all with and without A/C and whether in gear or not. The big 3D stepper table is only one small part of it all.

These tables adjust the sensitivity of variable that is represented by the second axis in the ISCV table to air temp, coolant temp, decel, and maybe a few other items.
