It was a 2006 Mitsubishi Colt ecu, it maybe similiar to the EvoX for CANbus reflashing, I'll try it out.

looking at the wiring diagrams, are you sure the openport 1.3U cable doesn't log EvoX, looking at this I think it still supports MUTIII protocol as well.

 

I don't know. All I have is a 2.0 cable....so maybe?!?

^ No, no. Hamish is saying he thinks 1.3 will work with the X. I haven't tried 1.3 as I don't have that cable but I do have a 2.0. You will not need a 1.3 if you already have a 2.0, he is saying it looks like the ECU can support 1.3 as well...just t hasn't been tested to run 1.3 or at least by him. I have a 2.0 cable and it works fine with the X.

Log with what? I tried to log with a 1.3 cable with evoscan awhile back, no workie.

 

ok I will try to get the EvoX working on 1.3U cable first, then on 2.0 cable. thanks for that feedback.

 

When is EvoScan 2.6 available and does it support OP2.0?

 

the evoscan gps/logger may be the real deal if it does come in on schedule.
