Not unless the device can support USB Host and most PDA's do not. You'd have to do a search on a specific device to see if it does.

Hamish wired up his own USB Host port on that device so what you are buying isn't something readily available to anyone other than him as I understand it.

A few questions in regards of the GPS.

1. Are we going to be able to edit the gauges or at least to be able to use our own gauges templates on the GPS? I have my own gauges customized to my likes and would like to be able to display them in the GPS.

2. Can we edit the data settings to be displayed in the GPS? I have moved certain MUTs around to support MAT readings, etc.

1. I am working towards this, but for the first version it will just be static gauges that I have designed.

2. Yes the same data.xml file will be in use, they will be interchangable with EvoScan Windows version..

Correct, we have already discussed this in this thread As far as I know I am one of only a handful of people in the world that truely understand how USB systems work. It is very challenging just on one type of device, let alone all those devices you have pictured above, although yes - EvoScan will run if compact framework 2.0 is installed, but the USB portion will not, unless you send it to me and pay me for 500hours of my time, hehe, I would do it for free, but I would need an excuse to give my wife to spend that much time and weekends on it hehe. If anything, i will be skipping all those other WindowsMobile type devices, and going straight to the iPhone for EvoScan support next year.

Hamish, I'm having some trouble with the performance of the live graphing of data, when it is enabled the logging rate reduces from about 180 per second to 30 per second. I'm using a fast laptop. I've tried enabling and disabling threading.

The map tracing is maturing nicely.

Thanks.

I am now focusing on GPS tracking for the Windows and the Live Gauges for the PocketPC edition. Although I will check it out for any performance live graphing issues.

I don't know where to get an EvoX ecu from, I wonder if my mitsubishi dealer can loan me one. It would only take me a weekend to get it working on EvoScan.

Hi Hamish,

What about Bluetooth support, would not that be an option?
