Narrowband voltage in Evoscan
Narrowband voltage in Evoscan
I know tuning via narrowband is not ideal, I fully understand that. This is a basically stock Evo VIII that we just want to tweak the tune so its not so rich. Any idea what a good voltage in evoscan is to use? I saw an old thread about using a pocketlogger but the numbers seem to be different.
Thanks

once upon a time there was no wb02 guys, it can be done on a nb02,...it's just not the preferred method these days and with the wb02 prices so cheap, it's flat out foolish really.
I still use my palm'n'stein/palm combo (pocketlogger) and yes, the front O2 voltage readings are different between it and evoscan. I think my pocketlogger gives a better ballpark then evoscan, and that's all it is; a ballpark rich or lean.
I'm one of those guys that started when there was no WBO2's. So I learned to add that to egt's and watching the timing curve to do some tweeks. Add that old school stuff to knock from evoscan and I'm happy.
I know, I know, I should be using a wideband. I acutally have one sitting on my desk.
