Can't log fuel trims

Wondering if anyone knows why mitsulogger/evoscan will not log fuel trims. Values stay at 0/100. I am attempting to scale my injectors.

this happend to my car. it was two things i belive. one i had a massive boost leak. and two it wont be exactly what you need but it might be the problem. i had some pheripheal if thats how you spell it, basically turned off on my computer. i guess my last tuner kind of locked up the computer and he disabled that part to be able to log. other things you can look at is your fuel injectors. kinda of stupid suggestion but make sure they are high impedance and not low that is if you changed them.

What's recently been changed on the car or when did you notice this happening?

Are you logging the oxygen sensor voltage as well? Is that jumping around a decent amount?

If I remember correctly I don't think it has ever worked for me. Of course I was running stock injectors so it didn't matter to me. I put in some FIC 680 on Saturday and need to start the adjustments. Trims never leave 0. Front O2 is moving and if I hit the gas it moves a bunch too. Don't know why it won't read the fuel trims.

How long are you letting it run? I have noticed that with mine I am better off doing the 20 minute cruise first, then once back home letting it idle for 15-20 minutes. With a fresh flash my low's didnt want to adjust until after I had driven it some.

Check that out as well...says the 8s need to be reset/cleared in order for the LTFTs to adjust...may make sense or it sounds like in SeeNoEvo's case it will just take a long time to start adjusting after a flash...

I was thinking that as well, but from the looks of her avatar, I think she owns a 9 which resets after each flash.

1. Reset your battery if you have an VIII, or if you have a IX flash it with your scaling and latency settings.
2. Let the car idle for about 15 minutes while logging LTFT low, LTFT mid, LTFT high, STFT and O2 sensor.
3. After the LTFT low has adjusted go out and cruise at a steady speed for about 20 minutes until your LTFT mid has adjusted.
4. Check trims then and adjust accordingly. You want to be +-5% on all trims

I rechecked all of the work done to the car this weekend. It still will not read although it did give me a 1 in the mid while a was driving around. Went back home to log idle and nothing changed.

Check that your open loop load/etc. maps are at stock values.

I had modified mine a ways back to get the car to idle leaner, and when I later added injectors, my trims did the same thing. Once the stock settings were back in place, everything worked fine.

You may consider downloading a stock or tephra rom and transferring your timing/fuel/injector etc. values and see if you still have the same issue.
