Virtual Dyno Room-Dyno Simulator
Lol, what if I bought a few map switches in return
heh, I can look up all the gear ratios and drag coefficients andsend them to you.
Either way, thanks again... I'll still be ordering a couple map switches in a couple days.

Hmm, maybe when I make the 'preset' vehicle page I will also add the 3rd gear,4th gear and final drive gear ratio blank boxes too so you guys can add ANY car to the drop-down list that you choose! I may put a filter to disallow subies though...I kid,I kid. I like that idea better than having to constantly update the software with a new revision number.

I found that DSMlink users can export their logs to a .csv folder so they can easily use this program, still trying to find a way to export AEM EMS logs though

Dyno compare: cutout open-closed
Putting v5.5 to use. Thought I would show a comparison of a pull from with my exhaust cutout closed followed by it open about 30 seconds later. With it closed, I am going through a hi-flow cat (some generic hi-flow cat from an RNR group buy years ago) and the stock cat-back/muffler). With the cut-out open, it exits right from the downpipe:

EvoM comparator correction factor (re-added with correct 05 gear ratio)
Here is a comparison of the logs in LogWorks:

Dotted line is cut-out open.
Now, time for me to tune since I have my wideband rewelded so that it doesn't bang the frame/underside of the car. I want to see how much I can extract through the stock cat-back. Time to up the boost and see where I can get.

You could set it up so when you activate the cut-out switch it automatically switches to the alt-maps if you wanted to tune separately for the cut-out and with the full exhaust. Just an idea. If you'd want to do that I can help you figure out how to wire it up. should be very easy to do.
JoT,
One thing I noticed is that you have the 05 VIII gear ratios the same as the IX (at least 3rd gear). I didn't know that was the case. Where did you get that info from? It makes sense that they are the same since the 05 VIII was the fist to have ACD like the IX.

I cross referenced a bunch of sources and it seemed to be correct with dyno runs I was given too so I assumed it was true, so far it seems to be correct according to users. *shrug*
Well tell me your tire size, then cruise at 3K RPM in 3rd and tell me the MPH that you get on the odometer? Maybe from that I can confirm?
Today on the way to the gym I held my RPM as steady as I could at 3500RPM and it looked like my speed was about 41-42, but again too hard to tell which ratio.
