Just to add one more data point:

Evo 8 - TBE/Intake/Ecuflashed:
- Dynomite Dyno: 285wtq - 293whp
- VDR EvoM mode: 277wtq - 296whp

Curves were pretty much identical.
Thanks for the hard work, donating!

*edit* same problem for every car...it's keeping the same weights instead of changing for the different models.
It doesn't change the weight ever with this version. I am working on a new platform that changes the Drag coefficient, Frontal area, stock curb weight, and fills in whatever other boxes I can have it fill in automatically but it is still a work in progress at the moment. Seeing as 90% of the cars that will be using this program wont even be remotely close to stock weight, its KIND OF a moot point but I'm still working on it

Trying to get some free time to clean up my Evo so I can trade it in for a cheap daily driver so I can actually have money in my wallet again, lol. Once I get rid of the Evo I will have even more time to focus on this. Before anyone asks, I plan on getting an AWD 2G Eclipse and toss an Evo 8 ECU in her so I won't be going anywhere lol.

In the interests of accuracy would it be a good idea to have a fuel percentage.

Eg my kerb weight is 3450 lbs, but 55L of fuel weights 90 lbs. I had 8L of petrol in the tank so about 13 lbs

so I did vehicle weight = 3360
occupant weight = me (220) + laptop/misc (12) + fuel (13) = ~245

It would be easier if I could just say - vehicle weight 3450, fuel load = 15% and it work out how much weight to subtract from the vehicle weight!

or am I making things too complicated?

JOT, could you look at post 345 and give me an opinion. Or anyone else for that matter.

I would say its mostly due to your new boost taper curve. There isn't really anything you can do at your power level to get any more output beyond 6500rpm. Its the nature of the beast. I would suggest lowering boost or trimming your timing curve to lower your peak torque curve (I suggest lowering boost first).

Thanks, I'll try lowering it psi by psi and hope the hp power band doesn't get effected much. That may be all she has in her with what I got. Not bad, I'll take that considering what I've done, or lack of what I've done to her.

Edit: There's some places after comparing logs where I am running two degrees more timing at corresponding rpms. I hope thats the reason for the overall increase in the power band and not the boost. It's good to know that for every psi=10ftlb/tq. At least for my car....I'm sure that stops at a certain point though.

Edit: It also seems that there is nothing I can do to make power stay on after 6500 RPM. I know it's just a little drop, but I'm sure it's because of everything being stock and just running out of steam. If any tuners have any suggestions to help with this, I would gladly listen and learn.
Sorry if it's been posted but what mods do you have!

lol Jamie

ok what about adding a 2nd graph (under the dyno graph) for boost/afr

ie you need to copy the boost/afr columns in and it will graph that as well (just a mini graph - 1/3 the height of the dyno graph, but same width)

+1

JOT.....This is a phenominal program. You should seriously consider packaging it and selling it. I am certain you will get thousands of sales. Expecially if you have the capability to imput various vehicles and such.

I didn't know that...please include the stock weights of the various cars even if it's in another sheet for reference. I want to post up results from an X and we didn't have a clue what i weighed but figured 31xx was way off.

Way ahead of you, asked for this a couple of weeks ago. Out of scope

Jamie, i think you could work on this thing for the rest of your life!

That should be relatively simple, since you won't have to implement any smoothing calcs or anything like that. Just 2 new optional data columns and a simple graph.
