If you did a 3rd gear pull, find the gear ratio for 3rd gear and for your FINAL DRIVE gear. Enter those values on the page where you select your tire diameter.

On the dyno page, for transmission type selecet the USER option. This makes the simulator use the gear ratios you manually entered on the other page. The drag coefficient won't be the same since right now its only set for an evo 8/9 but it will get you a ballpark figure.
i cant find user for transmission type. i tryed typing it in but it says i have to choose from the list

Just choose any transmission on the list, the USER selection is in the 'GEAR' box....sorry, my bad. Once you select the USER option, its using the specific gear ratios you entered manually so transmission type is over-riden.

the dyno sim says i have 269hp & 346tq. How close to my real hp & tq is it? i know its impossible to know for sure until i get on a real dyno, but i put in everything from the weight of the car an me to the 3rd gear an final gear ratios.

It's definitely in the ballpark. Though its designed for the frontal area and drag coefficient of an Evo8/9 so it'll be off a small amount,I'm sure.

If it was a load bearing dyno, I just need the vehicle weight entered into their software. Other than that, all I need is a log of the pull and the uncorrected HP/TQ from that pull that was logged. That's it. Dynojet I assume?

I believe the gearing issue was fixed, although v5.6 still has plenty of bugs. Since we are working on a full stand-alone program now, the revisions are on hold until the new stand-alone version is released. Link works fine for me over here *shrug*

ok, I'm sending Ryan one of the dyno owners an email right now about this. It is a Dynojet.

Thanks man. Dynojets don't require vehicle weight since it does its calculations by the weight of the rollers, not the car. Just need the uncorrected figures and we're golden!

I ran out of e85 and my ebc is pegged so Kevin is going to borrow the truck and we'll go get 55gal more e85 and he's going to let me borrow his MBC to see if we can get it in the 43psi area. Once the tune is checked at that level we should be ready for the track.

The guy working on it (bbarnhill) was hoping to send me a beta version to check out this week so hopefully sooner than later. I'm excited to see where we can take this OpenSource FTW! lol

I don't know if this is what you're looking for but this is what the dyno op sent me. with and without correction he says: These were done in 3rd gear btw.
