Continue forward with your stand-alone versions fellas. I'm certainly not stopping you. I just want to make the best Excel version I possibly can, its a personal goal really. Since mine is dependent on MS Excel, its never going to be as versatile as either of your versions can be. I'm just paving the way and figuring stuff out for you guys Don't under-estimate the power of MS Excel! I have seen some INSANE excel workbooks that rival the best programs on the market.

The 'Vehicle List' has now become a 'VEHICLE LIBRARY' since so many other car groups have contacted me and want to make use of the program (Mitsu,Nissan,Infinity,,Toyota,Lexus,Dodge [Neon SRT-4 guys],Corvettes,Hyundai [Genesis guys], and more that skip my mind right now). Because of this, I now need to add a new drop-down box for MAKE and then MODEL.

The big thing I really want is an easy way for users to update the VEHICLE LIBRARY by clicking a button that connects to to my website and loads the most recently updated vehicle library or something. This way, I don't need to keep adding cars to VDR and releasing revisions all over the place. I just need to figure out the best way to approach this. I may create a Web query that automatically connects to my database on my website every time VDR is opened and updates the Vehicle Library automatically so users don't even need to do anything. This will be great for fixing errors I may have made with vehicle data (cough* Evo X 4th Gear *cough),lol.
Awesome NEWS!

Here are 2 of my contributions for cars I researched cause I needed to tune them:

Code:
1994 Supra: 6-Speed	1.685	1.312	3.266	20.10	0.32
1991 Talon 5-Speed AWD	1.115	0.833	4.929	16.14	0.36

Well, my laptop just died. This sucks. This will delay things a bit, especially since I don't have Office on the computer connected to my TV. f$ck.

Oh, its backed up all over the net lol. I'm no dummy. I just dont have anywhere to work on it. Even if I used the desktop connected to the HDTV, it would tie up the tv completely and my fiancee would probably disapprove of that one, lol. Going to look at laptops now

Let me get this straight, Jack. You live in the same house with both your wife and your girl friend, AND you have countless hours to spend working on Excel.

WOW! What is your secret? I'd say they are both keepers.

Well if the donations don't work out just charge for it! I'd pay $50 to use the program if needed but I'll try and donate at least $10-$25 from every car I tune towards this and giving tephra money.

lol, I am getting married in like a month so I already call her the 'wifey' in preparation. Been together 5 years...marriage is just a piece of paper at this point lol. I just got home from Walmart and got myself a Satan-mart card to pay for this damn laptop since I don't have any money. I also got Excel 2010 so I can make sure it works with that version as well. I opened v6.00 in OpenOffice and it doesn't like it one bit. Especially the macro's that eXtreme-Speed is helping me with. If I make it compatible with OpenOffice, it'll need to be a separate version all together and require even more hours logged into this project (for the love of MIKE!). If I was to charge any money for it, it'd have to be EXACTLY the way I want it to be and a full stand-alone. Even if I did charge for it, I can't see myself ever charging more than $10-15 for it. Plus I wold have to toss some of the $$ towards the people who helped me get it where it it today. I am a big hack after all, lol. I still prefer donations so I don't need a vendors license on here. They are vultures about that stuff. As some of the vendors on here can attest...they aren't cheap on this site. Well, now I gotta go setup the new laptop so tomorrow I can be back on track.

...and none of you are invited to the wedding now, lol.

If no Open Office version, not sure what I'll do with my Netbook since it's the machine I use.
