Any idea how to get rid of it? (Though if you did, I doubt you'd be throwing it if you knew how to stop it.)

Yeah, it's been covered Golden.

Need to run WB through rear O2 sensor + P0139 disable. No other way to disable it currently.

Ok, has the P0139 disable been done on the 2010? 55570005

I haven't found it if it has. ROM id's are pretty easy to search for being so unique.

Who's down to donate to the "Tephra Fund to Disable p0140 for USDM based Roms". I am so ready to just pay him to solve this without having to log AFR's through rear o2 (ecu disabled vs mechanical fix). The ability to turn it off via EcuFlash.

Yup I'm heading the same way, having P0139 for the 2010 GSR would be nice.
Since I have issue with logging via the serial port, I'll hook it up to my Rear O2.

I know you're really busy on the TephraMOD for the X but could you have a look at this Tephra when you have a few minutes?

Thanks!

I've been starting to get catalytic efficiency CEL's lately at odd times, twice while light cruising during highway trips on the One Lap of America week and just recently during my warmup lap on my 8th session at a Watkins Glen HPDE... I was forced to come in to verify what the CEL was, reset it, and head back out.

I am using an angled rear O2 bung but it looks like it's time to also test a software disable setup as well!

Hello, my name is Michael and I am a Modaholic.

I've been CEL free for 4 days. It might be premature, but here is how I did it.

I turned On "Enable Rear o2 Sensor", bit 2 of ECU Option Set #2 ( = 1 ). Then I turned Off "Enable Catalytic Monitoring P0420".

That did it. So far so good.

I do not have my WB tied into the rear O2, and I am not logging it via the ECU. I'm using the USB to Serial port method.

Edit: 55570005

while you have the serial hooked up you should do the rear o2 mode so you can make sure the formula is correct. i had to tweak mine a touch and it was only possible because i logged both at the same time.

then you can also use the standalone to grab wideband

I could... but I can just plug my USB into my EvoScan Nav and log that way.

Maybe someday I'll do some full standalone logging, but for now, a laptop or my Nav can do the logging.

If I'm tuning, I'd rather do it on the laptop anyways. I can pull over, make a change, flash and drive away to do another pull.
