Any way someone can define the upper and lower bound Ignition timing tables for us lowly 91 octane guys on this 55580005 rom? Tried using the currently available code but its not quite right for this rom. Thank you.

No MIVEC tables

The MIVEC tables seem to be missing on the 55580005 xml you gave. Any way to define those? Tried the other MR addresses but again those too are slightly off. ty

I also tried flashing on a alternate MR rom (52690021 or 0019) and it fails saying that I am trying to make changes to protected areas and terminates the flash. odd I can only reflash car with the 5558005 file.

I have 52680018 and so far so good. no CEL. Wife taking the X for hour long ride so we'll see if it stays off the whole time. I did have P0038 in there prior to clearing codes. Odd.

Did anyone test the DTC disable codes for the USDM 2010 Evo X GSR?

Here is the code:

<table name="DTC P1238 Disable 0x0384 -> 0xFFFF" category="Misc" address="633e8" type="1D" scaling="Hex16"/>
<table name="DTC P1241 Disable 0x03E8 -> 0xFFFF" category="Misc" address="633de" type="1D" scaling="Hex16"/>
<table name="DTC P1235 Disable 0x0026 -> 0xFFFF" category="Misc" address="549f8" type="1D" scaling="Hex16"/>
<table name="DTC P1233 Disable 0x0028 -> 0xFFFF" category="Misc" address="549f4" type="1D" scaling="Hex16"/>
<table name="DTC P1234 Disable 0x0028 -> 0xFFFF" category="Misc" address="549f6" type="1D" scaling="Hex16"/>

I checked page 1 and did not see it added to the list yet.

Thanks Bryan and Diirk. I did not keep track of the thread.

Tephra, could you please update page one and add the code for the 2010 USDM GSR to it?

Why is this thread NOT a sticky

if i had one wish, it would be to get rid of P0140 from the entire world. matter fact, i would make it so the combination of letters and numbers of P0140 could not ever be used in this world for anything in any sequence.

Haha, if it bothers you that much, hook up your Wideband into the Rear O2. The fix works for P0139!
