Hi,

I've applied these fixes and they worked great for a bit, but now when I get on it hard like maybe 85%+ throttle I get a really violent fuel cut. Upon investigation I have thrown the code p0234 which is wastegate malfunction I believe. I think it might have to do with overboost though. Anyone familiar with this code and how to get it to go away? Oh also I have p0300 but I think that is unrelated.

Thanks!

When you hit fuel cut (boost limit) it will throw a P0234

You are over boosting and exceeding the Boost Limit load.

Hi,

thanks for your helpful response. Do you happen to know what I can do to prevent this? I'm kinda of a newbie but I know how to edit tables and stuff with ecuflash and also I can do some datalogging with evoscan.

Thanks.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

I don't know if it matters at all but my ECU no longer controls the boost, I have an AEM truboost that does that so I'm not sure if that matters but I'll try raising the boost limit. I remember reading something about airflow check / torque check tables but I haven't messed with those yet.

That table has nothing to do with controlling your boost, it sets the limit for the current error you are getting.

You should think about letting ECU control your boost. Goes off of load. You will see in the map boost limit table RPM/Load so If your hitting 280 load/RPM range and boost limit set at 280 load it will shut your *** down.

DON'T EVER RAISE IT TO MAX THOUGH! It nice to have a safety net.

I would imagine it's the same as 55570005 for all the basic tables although the SST, etc might be different.
