Would these MUT values be different from your V6 rom ? I ask because now my gear does not log correctly in Evoscan (it did in V6). Although it seems the rpm/speed still logs correctly.
MUTs should be the same, i have not looked at a V7 rom yet but i dont seen why/how it could change.

Is there a how-to on adding the new XML to Evoscan?
there is a video in the ECUflash forum showing "how to tune" it should be there. in general you just copy and paste the xml into the bottom of your rom xml file before "<rom>".

the best way to learn is to play around with some xml files

No copy/paste needed. Just drag the xml file into your xml directory.

I think that AFR Safety is a very good failsafe control for SD. If MAP or MAT sensor is damaged there is a failsafe system to keep all under control.
What do you think about this Dave?
You need to have an LC1, ZT2 or other wideband controller than can output a linear analog signal...

I updated the Fuel map, timing map, immobilizer code, injector scaling/voltage to be exactly (or interpolated in the case of fuel and timing maps) what they were in my previously tuned map and when I flash the tephra mod, the car can't hold idle.
It starts, but just dies. (I can keep it going by giving it gas, but takes a fair amount of pressing on the accelerator to get it to stay running). When the car was having problems, it also threw a 'speed sensor malfunction' CEL. The Tephra Mod options I have enabled (value of 1) are 'Flash CEL on Knock' and 'Enable Airflow Calcs.' The rest are zeroed.

I've also changed Periphery2 FCA bit 08 to 0 (D-VO mentioned he was having idling problems so I thought that was worth a shot) and had the same result with the car not being able to idle.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for the help.

enable the SAS actuator in evoscan and adjust your BISS screw on the throttle body until it idles at or around 850 RPM

I'm not disregarding that this works, but I'm more confused as to why this needs to be performed. What in the tephra map is different that causes the problem with idling?

For EvoScan C:\Program Files\EvoScan\EvoScan v2.6\DataSettings\data is where I have the XML opened to, then I'm lost. Where do I place the XML listed in the 2nd post? Normally, I'd do it right before the <rom> for Ecuflash ROM editing... Sorry for clogging the thread. Is it after the last bit of code for GPS Altitude ?

Post the entire table for your MAT scaling and I will check against mine after I do some logging.
I'm not able to display the whole table due to it's size, but copied the values to the table below:

That's not the issue, I used "select all" when copying the patched rom over to mine.

That looks right to me. But you have it listed at *F, when it's *C. Is that what your issue is? You mentioned you were logging 18* when ambient was about 50*F. 18*C is abou 64*F, which would be reasonable for intake temps.

If that is the case and you want it in fahrenheit, then you can just copy the values in l2r99gst's live map sd rom mat scaling table in the file at the beginning of this post and paste them in your mat scaling table and you should be ok. That is what i am using right now, i just wanted to be sure though.

It looks like the values I have are in Celsius, stoopid me I'm going to give the LiveMap a shot, but have to do more reading on how it functions. From what I understand you can write temporary changes to RAM while the car is running and then flash a new ROM image once you're happy w/ your settings. Just have to figure out how to do it and test it out.

You don't have to use livemap for anything...just make sure that you adjust your logger to log in degF instead of degC.

I understand that, I've been wanting to give it a try for a while now though. I'll be updating EvoScan in the meantime to verify all looks correct. Thanks for your help
