I tinkered with it and got spikes of 20 psi but it had some knock here and there.

i would average TPS to be 98%. RPM is up to you based on ur mods, etc. some like 6000, 6500rpm. i keep it at 5500rpm

my Tps is at 50% and speed is 6kmh....

I have been thinking of making it a little less harsh. I build 18psi in under a second. No more waiting for the 2 step.

All I need it to do is bang once then im off the clutch at 18psi right to 26!

Thanks tephra for making my car antilag!

I set an antilag before the launch map patch and would not be able to cruise through those load cells unless at wot. So this helped alot!

I wouldn't call it anti-lag, because it isnt.

FWIW I can get wheel spin at 4500. This is with R comps on a non-drag surface. This is not always true but occasionally. Knowing where the sweet spot is for RPM is key for a given tire and surface. That is if you are concerned with maximizing your launch vs a noisy tire spinning launch--which can have its place for effect.

If you are spinning tires at the launch, you are giving it too much. The launch tables need to be tuned just like any other table.

You might be clutching it a bit fast too. To launch hard and not spin the tires really takes some finesse' with the clutch.

I recommend just tuning the launch tables for a bit less boost to get you off the line without spinning the tires.

i would up the TPS a bit.

nice i cannot seem to build that much but IMO all you need is ~12psi to leave the line.

My launch timing is probably as conservative as any one on this forum. My point is that guys doing 6K 2step with -10 or more timing are getting more wheel spin than they realize. The ideal launch has NO wheel spin. I work at adjusting my launch to the surface, tires and how fast I will have to turn (autox).

Finally played w/ launch maps and was getting ~17psi out of the HTA35R w/ 5750 stationary rev limit. I probably won't keep this setting as it will blow the tires out and probably some drivetrain parts, but it's good to know that it works if I need to adjust.

What's the desired AFR for something like this? Ie, 13 psi at idle/launch with -10 timing?

Trust me dude, let the tires spin, cauz with constant launcing, its either tyres eating off or some component of your drive train...

^^^^ yup well said but once u wheelspin u lose time. what he is trying to say is less wheelspin with a proper launch is best...

What's the "mod" to be able to set the timing down to -20?

The only benefit to spinning the tires is to heat them up for more grip. Slipping tires are not applying force to the ground and propelling you forward. It is physics. I am sure that you have tried to push something only to have your feet slip.
Race teams spend a lot of money and time solving this problem. That being said you are right about spinning the tires vs stressing or breaking the drivetrain. I never said it was easy...;-)
