P0603 obd2 code after disabling immobilizer

P0603 Internal Control Module Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error

Im getting this code after someone flashed the wrong rom in a car with out saving the original, so i had to disable the immobilizer on the periphery (FAA) bit 3, so he can start the car. Any idea what we can do to turn off this code. And yes ive tried. As soon as you clear it, it pops back on.

Thanks much for your help

I think it is actually bit 2, not three. It is the third bit but the list starts with 0.

I experienced this back in 2006 while using a 2005 ROM in a 2003 ECU with ECUTEK after a COP ignition system burned the traces on the ECU.

It has to be bit 3 on FAA. Bit 2 wont crank the car.
