Does this apply? http://evoecu.logic.net/wiki/9653000...lacement_Notes

If not, just run it with it disabled, it won't harm anything... (unless you think there are people everywhere with a hard copy of your key but without the immobilizer code, in which case they can just swap the ECU for their own.)

Without information we cannot provide you with answers. Without knowledge, it may be very difficult to get information from you.

I fail to see how your lack of reading/preparation/tuner's advice is of urgency to the commuity as a whole. The information is all out there.
(Please note I come off as a jerk, but I'm just trying to be frank here)

There are 2 entries in v7 for the Immobiliser. They should both be different hex values and you have to have them both for it to start, unless of course you simply disable it as stated before.

Are you using the same hex value for both?

I would be guessing your old rom only has one of the Immobiliser entries showing in EcuFlash and the other one is more than likely not defined in your xml..?

Thanks, I put in both hex values. One is 4 digits and the other the 0x004b or so hex.

I retrieved the second one buy adding the value to my XML to show me the value in ecuflah. But still does not work. I still have know idea why though.

Have a look here:

Give it a shot 0058 may work on your JDM also. Or you could do a little trial and error with numbers in-between, hey you wont damage anything.

Personally, I have the immob disabled. If you don't have an alarm that also immobilises you can always set up Valet mode to do the same...

Hi All,

I tried this and the 0058 does not work either, i tried a couple above and a couple below. When I put the Hex def in my standard rom is comes back with 0x004B however this also does not work ?

I am so lost as to why this is giving me so many problems.

Anyone else have an idea.

Thanks

Dale

I had a similar problem, where I copy all the immobiliser, hex, info and it didn't start

I ended just disabling the immobilizer

Then codes P0135 and P0141 started showing, so I disable heater O2, and some options for O2 front sensor, using the Tephra V7, it's really easy

Now I have the P0505 show twice, not sure what it is, and why it's showing, but no problem on the car at all, I just cleared it

I had exactly the same problem when I switched to 96530706. All sorted now though.

Where abouts are you located Dale?
