crazy knock or??

can someone look at this log. its half throttle to around 5k rpm.
im new to tuning and logging so im just trying to make sense of everything.

at one point it starts to hit 14+counts....cant be normal right?

im guessing there might be something loose in the engine bay causing that unless someone states otherwise.
also the fuel trim mid and low seem to stay at the same value. thats not normal either is it? could that explain the horrible gas mileage im getting?

let me know what yall think!

perhaps try taking out some timing in the areas that it is knocking and see if that helps... did you try that already?

Have you messed with the knock sensor tables or knock multiplier mid range at all? Does this happen at WOT as well? Does it continue until you let off? Is this on E85?

should mention the knock started recently.dont know if it has anything to do with the weather warming up but when i first did the cams i ran lots of logs and everything seemed fine. no knock and good a/f.

knock started about 2 weeks ago.

Yes it is going to change quite a bit in your tune... especially where peak torque hits, and how much timing you may be able to run at redline... also may wanna do a boost leak test

That is a ton of knock for E85. I would check the timing marks as well. I hope that it is just a bad batch.

boost test..

but i had same issue when i changed cams and part throttle knock...even knock in free rev... didn't matter what i had the timing set to.. but reading around i saw sometimes you have noisy cams. so i changed my knock load to 120 which cleared it up, as knock was only occuring part throttle up to 120 load...

but whenever i did a WOT run, never had knock..only was part throttle

thats good to hear. thing is, it started recently. i have had these new cams installed since november but all the knock started a few weeks ago. im hoping its just a bad tank of e85.

ill man up and go for a WOT run and see if the knock goes away.
