It looks like the Max WGDC vs Coolant Temp address is off. The scalings seem to be correct.

I put this ROM on my 05 last night after Paul sent me the defined XML. I was hesitant to make the switch as I have the 96530706 working flawlessly on MY car. Once I made the switch, I unhooked the battery to reset the ECU, reconnected it a bit later, adjusted the BISS, and took a look to see what was going on with Evoscan... In MY car it threw the fuel trims off +20%, I let it idle for a bit and of course the fuel trims were maxxed out. The true test for me was how the car reacted with cold starts, and I saved that for this morning... 3000 RPM Idle jump taking quite a while for the rpm to settle down a bit. I know that I could have tuned all this out, and retuned the fuel map to get the car running the way that I wanted it to, but I have already spent the time to make the 96530706 work, so I didn't wanna mess with it anymore. Flashed back when I got home from work today, reset the battery, reset the BISS. Had to readjust my latencies a bit since I changed the BISS/SAS/ISC steps, but all is better. I have reached a point where I would rather enjoy driving my car than spending the time to figure out a reworked ROM.

This post is not meant to disrespect or demean in any way what Paul has done with the 94170015, and I am sure that he knows that, it is to show that results are not always the same with each car...If it ain't broke why fix it

I am sure tons of people are thankful that this rom has been ported to bigmaps, and it will work flawlessly for them.

It seems like the 05s are mostly where the issues lie. Freddie...You are a confirmed case that 9417 isn't ideal for a car that did not run it in stock form. Guess that is the bad thing about 05s.

I like the 96530706 ROM, works great for me. But it is really cool to have complete xml for 9417 to compare original tables, something I've struggled with in the past. It is a big help, thanks for the effort.

Why is that bad? 96530706 works excellent on my personal 05.

True, with the 05's I believe that the 96530706 is the better rom to run because the ISCV table is the same as the 05s, yes you still have to change quite a few things to get it to work correctly, but IMO it is the rom to run for the 05s...

I believe Paul was referring to the 94170015 rom may have issues with 05s, a lot of the tables are very different between the two...

any chance you can go thru the 8859 series. Im trying to get a copy of 88591715 instead of using a patched 0715. Im not surei have all the sd stuff in the rom either. I dont half of the tables the 9653 SD rom had, no asynch tables basically.

I am in the process of building it. Please be patient.

When this is all said and done you will be able to go on the Wiki and find all of my "fully defined" xmls.

When I replaced 9653 with 9417 on a 05 I was working on, I didnt have to mess with any ISCV tables, or BISS screw, etc and the car ran smoother, then with 9653. I would like to see more cases of trying to run 9653 on an 05 before we say it doesnt work on 05s because right now, we have one case of it working perfectly and better then 9653 on an 05 and one case of it not.

Flashed from 9653 to the 94170715 with good results. Idle is definitely smoother.

Has anyone noticed that the 1byte gear and rpm speed ratio average is not working properly that was part of the 9653 release? This observation was from one very short run...

You probably have done this but check your immobilizer settings. Also do a rom compare in ecuflash.

On another note. Could boosted tuning or appauldd start another thread just for 94170715 V7? Since you guys are leading the effort, I think it would be wise so we do not get too far down the line with this thread or add to the mega V7 thread.
