Hello my fuel cut load set to 319% . the alt map boost setting has the same boost adder as the main map ?

Hi guys,

I am using the 94170715 rom on an 05 USDM Evo GSR 5-speed rom id 96940011. The 94170715 rom inherits the 94170015 rom.

1. Is the rom ready to log 2 byte load, 2 byte rpm, 2 byte airflow?

1. If it is not ready, should I use the MUT values for the 94170015 rom to log 2 byte load, 2 byte rpm, 2 byte airflow?

2. Can I use the MUT values for 96940011 to log the 2 byte load, 2 byte rpm, 2 byte airflow?

Thanks

1. Is the rom ready to log 2 byte load, 2 byte rpm, 2 byte airflow? I dont know, first release was not config'd. So just check.

Thanks
All this can be found by searching/reading. 9417 V7 is just a 9417 ROM, so it would use the 9417 values for 2byte stuff. And of course 9694 values wont work cuz its a 9417 ROM.

Come on now Naji....

Thanks.

One last thing. I opened the 9417 rom on two different lap tops and I cannot see the ALTERNATE BDEL and WGDC tables. I can see the Base BDEL and WGDC tables.

In the turbo section, there is are BDEL #1 and WGDC #1, but they are not per gear.

I uninstalled and re-installed ECUflash on one lap top and still nothing. I have ECUflash set to developer.

Any ideas?

you dont need 2byte rpm - unless your revving higher than 8k

use 1byte load as outlined in the V7 thread

V7 should be setup with 2byte airflow by default - as outlined in the V7 thread...

But...Ha

The MUT requests that were in the 9653 rom are not working.

In particular I am interested in the following.
MUT40 = 1byte gear
MUT42+MUT43 = 2byte SPEED/RPM ratio (to get your gear ratios correct - if you need to)

I also think that the following are not correctly configured in the MUT table

MUT00+MUT01 = 2byte airflow (ie MrFreds mod in g/s or lb/min)
MUT02+MUT03 = 2byte airflow (ie MAFHz)

I put the following addresses to get the 2byte arflow MAFHz to work correctly

MUT02=89BA and MUT03=89BB

I also noticed that the Max WGDC vs coolant temp address is off in appauldd's xml. Anyone know the correct address? It is currently 56D2.
I read this whole thread and I did not see that the original question was answered. What are the proper MUT addresses for 94170715 for the above requests?

What about 1 byte load (Tephra MUT 41)? Is 840b correct?

Yes the problem was solved. Tephra had a wrong address in the ROM which initally was not spotted (unfortunately my head gasket blew due to over boost). The rom on page one should be correct and working.

Well, the fix is designed for 94170715 (especially gear fix 1), I suppose it won't work on my 96530706 rom.

I have a big issue with gear dependant boost, not exactly the same issue as described for 9417 rom.
I use the evoscan xml provided on V7 thread to log RPM_SPEED_RATIO_AVERAGE and GEAR.
I log RPM_SPEED_RATIO_AVERAGE to fill the RPM/SPEED to gear table (values were the same as posted somewhere on this thread for 5 speed).
The issue is that GEAR is not showing properly when logging, so I suppose that gear dependant boost is screwed (using the wrong tables).
I find when it came to my mind that the WGDC applied in 3 gear were in reality the values for the second gear in the rom.

In 1 and 2 GEAR shows "1"
In 3 it shows "2"
In 4 and 5 it shows "3"

I first supposed that my RPM_SPEED_RATIO_AVERAGE logged values were not correct (but they were logging nicely), so I tried to lower the values in ordre to make "the 2 shows 2" and so on. I didn't work.

I use a 04 VIII ecu (swaped on a evo VI), with 96530706 rom and xml provided on the V7 rom, post #2 by Phenem.

Does anyone has a suggestion ???
