So I know, 100% that the ecu is not reading from the iat sensor, I disconnected the iat and nothing changed, afr where the same everywhere. And evoscan was still logging iat. Im lost, gm iat sensor with the spoolinup harness pluged into the maf connector, tephra v7 rom. What I dont get is I thought the patch in v7 was for the fuel temp input for iat, so how would it read iat from the maf iat input?

v7 can use either IAT or Fuel Temp input. If you read the Spoolin Up SD Harness product page:

SD Option: IAT Input for MAT - Use 0x03

Ive tryed both 03 an 0E, the onlt thing that changes is the number that is being logged in evoscan, but its still one constant number it never changes. The afr and every also stays the same. Idk Im gonna try a new IAT sensor.

Is this a possible mut table problem. I have the same issue with my afr staying static.

Alright, theres an interesting twist, after replacing the sensor and messing with a few things it logs perfect while the car is off but will Only log 29.2 or 299 when the cars on and it will bounce between those two numbers at random. Also it goes lean when it logs 299 and rich when it logs 29.2 which is what it should do. Cold air more fuel, hot air less fuel, given the actual iat isnt changing.

is there any parameter which needs to be adjusted in Tephra when routing the Mapsensor Signal over the MAF Plug?

Or just installing the SD Patch rom, adjusting the IAT parameter, normal configuration to the (in my case) Omni 4bar MAp sensor and it should be driveable to finetune the SD?

is there any Spoolinup dealer in the EU?

i'm using the mr fred active baro harness
AND I'm on the 96534706 SD 2.0 rom.
JDM map in my manifold and using my stock 2004 evo 8 map sensor for baro mounted over by my filter.

my afr's are fine after spending time tuning. only issue i have is the "jitter" when cruising around 3k.

if it hasn't been covered:
1. check your rom and make sure theres nothign that needs to be added.
2. pre patched tephra roms check to see you have it selected correctly ( i seen other mentioned the address)
3.if not the MUT needs to be looked at, you could be logging somethin at 0x03 already, so uncheck that and log again.

i'll try and log my IAT when i get a chance to see what it comes up with. hope this helps.
