I was crosscheking the FSM
S-AWC Pin 5 - Etacs 8
S-AWC Pin 4 - Etacs 9
seems to be similar to MFI ECU
ECU Pin 91 - Etacs 8
ECU Pin 90 - Etacs 9
ECU 90 -> OBD 6
ECU 91 -> OBD 14
Thus
S-AWC Pin 5 -> OBD 14
S-AWC Pin 4 -> OBD 6
S-AWC Pin 5 - Etacs 8
S-AWC Pin 4 - Etacs 9
seems to be similar to MFI ECU
ECU Pin 91 - Etacs 8
ECU Pin 90 - Etacs 9
ECU 90 -> OBD 6
ECU 91 -> OBD 14
Thus
S-AWC Pin 5 -> OBD 14
S-AWC Pin 4 -> OBD 6

You are correct there is no reflash voltage connector in CAN vehicles, but it does not mean necessarily, there is no reflashing voltage. On the contrary, there is a FVCC pin at m32r processor (pin 120 for M32170F3VFP QFP240) which has to have a voltage when you want to flash ROM inside. Simply because it causes interrupt of processor handling. My assumption is that one of the pins 22,23,24 serves as reflash.
What stage of development is this at? Estimated completion date? I'm tempted to get the Gruppe-S / Dynamic Autosports ACD ECU reflash, but don't wanna drop $350 if a super cheap / free option is just around the corner.
GL on the break through guys! Seems a bit of time away but they will crack it.
Even if we do have it all settled, you may get your money's worth by buying the flash if you are competing. Alot of the value in that is beyond the ability to reflash and in the tune that has been placed on the device.
