Hi everyone,

Today I noticed my boost cut is not working. The Boost Cut Load is set to 275 all the way down. I'm hitting 300 load at 3400 - 3600 rpms. Is there something I'm missing on how boost cut works?

Check the boost cut delay

 

set to 1 sec. I'm guessing I need to be past the load limit for over a second for it to work.

 

set it to .6 seconds and try that, 1 sec is too much

Looking at your log in your other thread, it looks good. No reason to keep your boost cut that low. Raise it to a level above what you are hitting consistently. You don't want to trigger boost cut for no reason. It's a pretty harsh jolt when it happens.

 

Will do. It was orginaly set to that because I was only hiting around 260 load, after winter the car got some upgrades.

 

Also boost cut follows a different load, this is always lower then 1/2byte load we log. Search for MRFREDs thread about different types of load for more explanation.
