Alright, I'm pretty convinced you're right. I just started the car with the whole IACV completely removed from the TB with the hole wide open and it idled just the same.

So you were right, IACV. Replaced it and the car idles nicely now.

So now I'm back on the speed density setup.

Question; what do you use for analyzing log files?
I've played with evoscan - analyze log files, but either I don't know how to work it or it doesn't work very well. I was dealing with it, but I just realized.. I took a log and it's showing different data than the .CSV file that I opened.. I don't get it.
It's showing MAT going from 20 to 200 degrees and load at 750 during a pull, but if I open that exact same log file in excel my MAT stays around 60-65 and load gets into the 220-230 area..

Thanks!

Welcome back lol ...

ok I don't know evoscan and don't use it. They owe me $25 ;p...I use mitsulogger. It's free and easy to use.

aktivematrix.com ...just send a donation when you start up for Jacks hard work.

Alright, I think I have evoscan working right.. :-)

Hey when I start the car (running speed density), it runs extremely lean.. around 18:1. It won't stay running. I have to feather the throttle until it warms up, then it idles 14.7:1 and runs fine.
Any idea?
I played with Accel Enrich Base vs Engine Temp and it seemed to make little difference.

I searched around a lot but didn't find any concrete answers. It seemed like people were saying it was a problem for other ROMs more than the 9417 (which is what I'm running).

Thoughts?

Thanks again,

Tommy

I'm still having that problem. Mine doesn't die anymore(upped the desired idle) Now it just idle at 18/19:1 af till i drive of then it's fine.

Ive tried at least 20 different things with little success...i'm persistent, i'll find it.

What sux is that I only get 1 shot at changes per day ...so it's not a quick fix seeing that it's only when it sits overnight.

Damn.

Good thought on the desired idle though. That'd be nice to not have to be holding the throttle.

Thanks,

Tommy
