Fault Code Help Needed
Fault Code Help Needed
I have just completed a patch harness to allow me to run a E9 ecu in my E6 on sd the rom i am using is 88570008
I have 3 fault codes that have come up which i was expecting as i am not running mivec i just need some advice on how to disable them
P0000 ses code
P1021 Intake engine oil control circuit
P1012 I cant find a definite answer on this but i think it is intake cam position sensor
Thanks for any input

According to my little cheater book.
P1012 VVT CAM
P1021 OCV Open Bank 1
So essentially the control valve to the oil port is open and probably is responsible for throwing the first code as well which is something to do with camshaft position
.

Thanks for clearing the code what i relly need to know is how to disable these
Disabling the mivec on an evo 9 is going to be really tough. I'm not really sure if i can answer those questions for you. Perhaps the ecu guru's like mrfred or tephra may know of a periphery setting that can accomplish it.
I dont have mivec on the car its just the E9 ecu i have that is throwing the cel thats why i need to disable the cel's
The problem is, he needs to run SD on his car (as I do on mine) however the SD patch for 90550001 (the Evo 7 sd patached rom) doesn't work correctly, and neither do the Evo 8 roms on our cars as they are the older Evo 6 models.
So Jamie has decided that the Evo 9 ecu has had more work done and more successful SD conversions therefore that is the Ecu he / we need to use to run SD without any issues.
I personally have tried 3 different 7 and 8 roms on my car, and all suffer with the same issue of spluttering around 2000 - 2500rpm on light throttle.

I'm thinking my year car just has some quirks it doesn't like with the origional v7 in the 9653 rom.

The E9 ecu has cured it so i will be concentrating on sorting the cels rather than spending more time on the other roms and ecus
