This is always the case, it takes a couple of idiots to ruin it for everyone. Sorry to hear about that, for many reasons. Some people just like to ride the wave of other peoples hard work and ingenuity.

what else makes it sad is the amount they make off the tune and cant donate 30 of it

 

n00b question but what does VIN locked mean? I get the idea that the map will work only for a given VIN, but what does that mean in terms of the actual rom file?

P.S. I sent my donation Mar 19, 2011, but would have np donating again for the V2

 

It just means that the ROM file I send you will ONLY work in your car.

No more free downloading... I will probably setup some sort of payment gateway/website thing to automate it all...

Any ETA on when 2011 GSR (ROM 56890009)will be supported? I am more than willing to be a beta tester if that is needed. Was not sure if the hold up was the Cobb agreement or if there were other challenges?

Been patiently waiting to switch to e85, but would much rather do it with Tephra's awesomeness than having to carry the laptop everywhere I go in case I can't find the liquid corn. Knock light and PSI boost control would be nice too...
