Just trying to get all the features up to where I would like them to be before releasing it. I actually added a new smoothing method to the graph and I need to add it to the TQ before sending a final copy to the betas. This update has a LOT of stuff in it. Please be patient as I dont want to rush it and release some unusuable bugs. This update is probably the biggest yet.
So far,
1.0.5
- Settings are now not saved on graph settings window close via the X
- Fixed a bug when renaming logs that caused a fatal error
- Fixed a bug that caused the FindRPMRange to return no range due to blank RPM columns
- Fixed a bug that would cause the TPS to be found and not trim blank columns
- Fixed a bug that would trim all values out even if TPS was found
- Fixed a bug that when closing a non-selected run
- Fixed a bug that when loading a file that contained blank rows
- Added adjustable Auto Trim TPS value to the settings screen
- Added cancel zoom button to the quick action bar
- Added car profiles to allow quick loading of car details
- Added ability to drag and drop profiles on runs for single run application of settings
- Increased speed of graphing by adjusting when columns are found
- Dynamic scaling of Boost and AFR graphs
- Load runs even if file is already open in another program (non-exclusive file access)
- Increased the sensitivity of smoothing but decreased smoothing on AFR/Boost
- Boost graphing on Y2 axis of bottom graph
- FindColumnName function added to remove redundant code
- Finding of column names moved outside each row so its only performed once per table hence improving graphing time
- Added Evo 5 GSR (5 Speed)
- Graphing can be done in metric or imperial units now (HP/ft-lbs or kW/N m)
- Splash screen background set to transparent
- Splitters added to allow adjustable profile and runs panel
- Saves location of and size of window on exit
- Changed the smoothing number box in the settings window to a drop down list
- New smoothing option under settings that is the BETA smoothing method that may be adopted in the future

Brad,
This sounds like way more than a minor release. Very impressive.
One question: Would it simplify the process from a coding perspective if you had releases more often but with fewer changes to each? That seems like a lot of changes to perfect in a single edition.
Here's to you!!!

B-Spec good deal man!!!
Hope to get some time in the next day or so to work on this some more. This is our first week back in school so time is scarce this week.

I just tuned 3 different EVOs at a Dynojet and VD was very close to uncorrected DJ numbers. With correction on the DJ, its numbers were considerably higher than VD in this crazy heat.

response on where is v5
Yea beta 2 left for the beta testers yesterday. Fixed a few issues, but im guessing its nearing release. Im a little diff than most. I let my betas decide when its ok to release. Not to say its bug free cause every edition has a few known bugs but those are what keep me going
I know i sound like my competition by saying itll be worth the wait but different from them because mine will be released the week hopefully. If the betas give the thumbs up ... Maybe tomorrow ... Thats a big if ... But definately soon!!!

Just an update. I packaged up V5 last night and about passed out at the keyboard. Just have to clean up the install and take screenshots for the website and post it. Its really close guys ... just bear with me ... my body said sleep and I said no ... but it won. Is anyone excited about the new features and changes?
