itzwolf: You have mail ... your issue pertained to custom column names. It turned out there is a bug in the saving of the custom column names in 1.0.5, which may make 1.0.6 a release to fix some of the small nagging issues in 1.0.5. That usually happens after a release as large as 1.0.5 was. Ill be deleting all the extra gears that done really ever get used such as 1st 2nd and 5th gears from all the cars to make it a little nicer to use. I have a LIST of cars to add as well and hopefully Ill get that added and released in 1.0.6
Keep the faith folks as this gets better every release. 1.0.5 had a LOT of code changes in it and some small bugs are expected. Let me know if you find any and Ill try to get them fixed as quickly as possible. Without the help of people reporting bugs, I would never know about any of them.
Thanks to all of you for all your support and willingness to help.

^ love the program Brad
One thing I've noticed is the program seems to give a much smoother result if the sample rate is reduced. I tried it first by just stripping out all entrys in the log except those at 250rpm increments - this gave a much smoother and more realistic looking result, without smoothing.
Tomorrow on the to work trip I will try again, but with about 10 items or so to log after rpm, which I think should be set to the top of the log selection list (EvoScan).
This should get a slower sample rate, with a better result, hopefully.
edit 1:
A bit more on the rpm scale thing. There is no rpm numerals marked on the power/torque graph, just the marker ticks on the x-axis.
These do not allign with the Boost/AFR graph rpm markings, which are from 0rpm to 9000rpm, on my pc.
I notice on Brads screen-shot they do allign.
So, my logs (any and all of them) dont allign with the AFR x-axis, though a careful look shows they are in aggrement with the main graph marker ticks.
Hope that makes sense.
edit 2:
Un-ticking the AFR and BOOST removes the lower graph as expected, and x-axis rpm numerals are then shown (2000 to 7000rpm).
Unfortunately they do not match the actual scaling, as noted above

Merlin.OZ:
I have found the code that is the culprit and fixed it. This bug will be fixed in 1.0.6, if you need it before the released copy comes out let me know and Ill send you the beta.
Thanks for catching this bug!!!

Brad,
What's new in the 1.0.6 version so far besides the bug I found and the one Merlin found? Can you add the Supra information that I supplied a while back?
Any progress on the difference in power shown on the two logs I sent based on a normal high rate log and a restricted rate log?

Yes everyone make sure to donate to Brad if you like the program. He is a super busy guy and doesnt even have time to work on this, but he still does.
And we are in the process of gather info and adding other cars. More cars will be added in V6 or V7. If you have accurate car data, please email it to bradbarnhill at hotmail

I wouldn't say I am wasting his time. I've supplied a few cars data for addition to the program, given him an abundance of AEM logs both Series 1 and Series 2, and provided feedback when I see something off to help make this program the best it can be.
I've been editing XML's which isnt a big deal but for the simple 2 minutes to add another vehicle so its part of the install I figured I would ask. No harm no foul.

I see both sides. Im SUPER busy with 3 clinicals and class every week. I only get a few hours a day to sleep and eat but I squeeze a few minutes in to work on this project when I can
... Id like to spend most of my time working on the functionality for a few more releases before everyone goes crazy with cars but I see the need to add more platforms as well.
Both of you are right!!!
I am hoping that V6 will be a fix for a few bugs and add a little functionality. I hate to go into the details of listing whats changing until its released due to the list changing all the time. It wont be too much longer I promise. Ive got a few changes to make and then Im going to send mellon a copy to put through its paces. I couldnt do this without any of my users or contributers but dang have MellonTuning and Jay@boostedtuning helped out tremendously. Guys THANK YOU BOTH!!!
Keep the suggestions comments and criticism coming ... I may ignore, accept and implement it ... just without everyones part it wouldnt get better.

More huge strides on 1.0.6 made today, 1.0.6 beta 3 was released to beta. Got some more testing done. Its just about ready to send to the beta that really puts it through its paces, or what I call final testing. I screwed up with 1.0.5 and didnt test it as well as it should have been and thats why people are having some issues (though they seem minor). I want to make sure atleast what Ive changed works.
Another release is just around the corner. Remember Im not like my competition ... my stuff gets released, so keep the faith.
