evo 9 6 speed
FP green HTA
23.2psi@4000 - 21.7psi@7000 (hopefully...no idea what it really was since the modified stock airbox is not my usual air intake)
gsc s1
98RON pump gas
stock engine
done with a modified airbox (run with a real intake coming soon for comparison)
I currently have idle and throttle hang problems so I doubt the car is running it's best

done in misty weather so quite a bit of humidity...and climbing...and in a curve, didn't want to have something too optimistic and no drag strips available

thanks for the application Brad Barnhill
was so depressed by my throttle hang that I had to see some kind of results after the tune, I hope they are kinda accurate or I will set my car on fire ! (kidding)

Looking good. here are some screenshots of EvoX with Virtual Dyno and comparison of EvoScan Virtual Road Dyno:

Notice how EvoScan is a curve with X Axis as Time
http://www.evoscan.com/images/Screenshot_769.gif

oh yeah, I see your point, lucky its configurable, here it is looking similar with a lower smoothing of 8.

Ummm ... your using a smoothing of 29 too .... I just dont see a lot of dynos showing time on the X axis either. If the run is bumpy or the tune is causing dips on the graph ... that is what I want it to show because Im not trying to mask a tune issue with a smooth curve.

Ive been working closely with Mellon Tuning and Boosted Tuning and last night with HBSpeed to test the new betas. We are very close to getting 1.0.6 released. Its another big release, its bigger than I first realized. Lots of vehicles added. A few more days of testing, and Im shooting for getting it out this week.

Glad you like the program Hamish and give it your blessing, you should get the new version. It looks like you are using an OLD version.

Id watch using that name 'Virtual Road Dyno' ... I got chewed for Virtual Dyno hahaha.

oh yeah, I see your point, lucky the smoothing is configurable, I changed the image link above. As far as the Virtual Dyno name, I'm not as intimidated because there are 100s of software with this name, not just 1 or 2.

yeah I like the time on X Axis, so that you can see the real values for LOAD, AFR and KNOCKsum, else you are averaging these and loosing valuable information when pivot-tabling it by RPM.

Hahaha ... oh Im not intimidated either. My software has been released and his hasnt. There is plenty of room for anyone that wants to write a similar piece of software due to it all being free. Its not like Im getting any donations. Im not doing it for the money, but it does help fund the effort (I guess Im preaching to the choir right Hamish).

I need to get with you on how to communicate with the OP2 cable. I contacted tactrix but they werent helpful at all.

Im just glad Ive written something that is useful and helps people tune faster (thats what some of the feedback Ive recieved has said). As long as people use this I will keep developing on it.

It's not that difficult, maybe if you actually did some research around the web you would find hundreds of things on how to communicate with the cable. But looks like you will get this handed to as well. Keep up the good work, Even though you probably can't explain what is even going on with the calculations/dyno info!

Brad, I have used the new beta on four cars now, no issues or niggles to report.

I did get a surprise when applied to an auto Galant, but the result was alright once the tranny had locked from about 4000rpm.

Merlin: glad to hear that, Ive made a few minor changes in a new beta but nothing functional. Just releasenote modifications. New version VERY soon. Just trying to go over 1.0.6 with a 'fine tooth comb'.

Evo8john: thanks for the words of encouragement. Glad to know someone appreciates the usefulness of this software. Ive never had anything ever handed to me, not in life or in software development. You are right that its just people being jealous kids. It just lets me know that I am doing something right and making others nervous.
