sweet tities!

Just added a few cars to the cars.xml file saved and good to go, pretty simple stuff for the most part i suppose. Thanks again to everyone and great work.

Anyone having issues with BOOST displaying in the graphs?

I am including "Engine Load", in the parameters that I export to the text file.

Perhaps the software looks for a "boost table" rather than "engine load"?

Or, I could be just going crazy

Other than that, this software is awsome dood

Love the profile option

The software is looking for boost, not load. Boost needs to be logged for it to be able to graph it, it can't calculate it from load.

Is that what you meant?

This may be a stupid question, but the HP and TQ that this tool reports, is it calculating it at the wheels or the crank?

at the wheels. It's not possible to measure the actual crank HP without knowing the exact drivetrain losses your particular vehicle may have. You can however measure the power being applied to the wheels quite accurately though with datalog information.

Excellent - that's what I thought, but just wanted to be sure, so I wouldn't get my hopes up too high with my self tuning. I made an adjustment to my timing map yesterday and added 30 HP and 40 TQ. Just wanted to be sure it was real! Sure felt real

Try not to make comparisons from different days if the weather conditions were 'drastically' different (like a 30 degree difference lol). Try to at least have the air temperature be within 5 degrees of the log from the previous day whenever it's possible. Air temps have the biggest impact on power fluctuations since colder air will gain HP.

Downloaded a log from member here change the settings but got TPS trimming problem too.

If you arent logging TPS then you need to uncheck the AutoTPS trimming option. If you are logging TPS you need to see what WOT is and if its not 99 or greater you wont see any data points (If WOT is 87 as ive seen in some other logs set it to like 80 or so). It trims any data value out of the log that has a TPS less than what you select there. This gets rid of the idle portion at the beginning of the run and the coasting/decel portion of the run. Thats its purpose. The 'error' you are seeing on the screen isnt an error at all. Its just letting you know why you arent seeing any graph. I figured that was nicer to say to the user than to just see nothing.

Also looks like you are using commas instead of peroids for decimal points. Ummmmm ... use decimal points.

I also cant get the log to throw that error on me. Let me know if you are using a different log or something.

Let me know if you need more help.

I apologize for not being clear.

I am using this for a few AEM cars, and I dont show boost.

I select: Engine speed, afr, and engine load.

So what do I need to change to make this thing see "engine load" as boost?

Hello

I'm logging TPS as you can see in the log, and my TPS setting in the VR is 90%, but i tried everything..
How to use decimal point ? :$ my evoscan logging with commas, when I would like to open my logged .csv to see normal column I have to choose "commas"
When I try to open my log the RPM trim setting is between 1-99999 ?!
Coud you send me a correct log what you can open ? Maybe than I will know the mistake.

Engine load isnt boost. It looks for a boost column and not load. If you wanted to graph load under boost you could just put it under the custom column names in options.

I think the confusion here is because aem ems calls boost "load" whereas the same isn't true with evoscan
