Virtual Dyno - Standalone Software
tephra u need to log 2byte rpm to fix the "proper" log issue. i notice on dma as the rate is too fast i get big spikes, logging 2byte rpm fixes that... but 100rpm is a good block. i remember jamie had 50rpm blocks, i might try 100rpm block (currently i dont use any blocks)
I don't know what I'm doing wrong . I opened VD then loaded the log then chose evo 8 gsr/3rd gear/car weights 3200lbs/ 30c temperature/occ weight 190 lbs/ smoothing set at 2/ tire height 25.33/ final gear 4.529/ Sae unchecked/ barometer 29.35 in/hg / I also went to option then went the boost line and wrote "omni4bar" so it can read my boost from the correct colum on the log.and it shows 805 whp that has to be wrong , i have built 2.0l hta3586 43 psi of boost?
im using the virtual dyno software for over a week now but and its great!
i just want to know that the AFR it shows in the graph is it accurate?
i have a AEM uego wideband, and the thing is it doesnt show my AFR in evoscan but shows in VD thats why im asking this!

so is the AFRMAP from the ecu accurate? can i trust it to tune my car or do i need to buy a sensor and log AEM with evoscan and VD? and also do i need a sensor to log boost?
NO, afrmap is NOT accurate for knowing your air/fuel ratio, you need a wideband. And yes you need a sensor to log boost, most popular options are the JDM 3-bar MAP sensor or the OMNI 3/4/7-bar sensors.

Dont know ... never seen one. Send me an uneditted log in CSV or TXT format and we can see what can be done
I know a guy that knows a guy that may be able to get this done.

Rpm not reading correct for v1.15
Hi Guys,
Firstly, thank you Brad & any contributors for all the work you put into developing this program.
I had my Evo IX tuned (using ECUtek) quite some time ago on a dyno here in Perth Australia & didn't require to use software based dyno simulators. However, as Ecuflash was developing at such a fast rate (including tuners were now using ecuflash in Perth) & I had finally decided on fitting some mild mods, I made the move across to Ecuflash.
I have now moved to the country & don't have any dyno facility to compare any changes applied to my rom, so now I'm definately in need of a program such as Virtual Dyno
.
I have used this program in it's 1.12 version & have had no problems until I connected to the net just now & it uploaded the lastest version on my laptop. This also happened on my home computer when it upgraded to ver 1.14 from 1.12. Ver 1.12 never had any problems what so ever.
The rpm function starts up around 100,000 & goes up to 1, sound strange? This is back to front obviously
, not being able to have the rpm start at 1000 or 2500rpm as I like to use & go up to about 7300rpm, I am unable to load any evoscan logs so they are visible. Can anyone help me to get the rpm values set correctly?
Thanks guys any assistance will be cherished.

Hey Brad is there a way to get an avg dyno graph for the runs that are loaded on the dyno chart? So if I have 2 pulls on the graph can you combine them into one to show an avg?

Ive had a couple of people ask for this feature. Is this really that useful? Its not as easy as taking an average since you dont have samples at the same RPM.
