I think the problem is that you're opening a compressed zip file that has logs inside and trying to drag and drop directly from there. Try extracting the log files from the compressed zip file and then dragging and dropping.

ok, I'm not sure what's up with that error (windows problem most likely) but going forward when you do a log file, don't zip them up and it will be a non issue. Try making a new log file with evoscan and drag and drop it into virtual dyno.

Juts to make it clear for some people that believe virtual dyno is showing BHP or some kind of European power at the engine :

bbarnhill could you please confirm and write in all letters that your virtual dyno graph shows whp and not power@flywheel ?

Thank you in advance I would really appreciate the effort.

Virtual Dyno shows WHP (Wheel Horsepower ...aka the HP that matters).

Ohh and Mellon is absolutely correct. Dont drag files from a zip folder to Virtual Dyno. Extract your files first. Mellon should know ... he uses the software more than I do

I was having the same problem as babaz7 was having. I had to open my logs through the programs files and go to saved logs. It shows the sample logs in the file and none of my saved logs. On the top of the tool bar there is a button that says compatability files or something. Your saved logs will show up after that. Copy all of your saved logs then open virtual dyno. When you click open logs and paste your logs into the area that says sample logs.

That might be confusing so pm me if you need help

The sample logs come from EvoScan. There's only 2 in there. They should be labeled as sample 1 and sample 2

Its been tested on many cars and dynos by multiple people. Ive personally tested it with a 700hp Evo and it was within 1-2 HP and 2-3 TQ of what it put down on the dynojet.

Ask Mellon Tuning, or any other tuner on this forum that uses it if its accurate

smoothing is used to take make the lines smoother. Too much smoothing and it kills your hp/tq, too little and it can look pretty rough. I usually end up at 1-2 smoothing.
