VD is great, would you consider adding Vipec and Link? They have the same logformat cause they are the same ecu.

Brad,

Love the new functionality to be able to graph any column. Would it be possible to add a numeric Y axis when we add a column? As it is now you have to roll over the data point on the graph to see the actual values.

The only problem with that is every column would have its own range. SO if you graphed RPM and knock you wouldnt even see knock it would be so small. Right now its graphed as percentages and it scales them nicely. The trade off is no readable y-axis. Now I do have support for multiple graph panes so each y-axis would have its own graph. I broke it right before release and this is something that Ill work on. Graphing other columns has some bugs as its new but they will get worked out over time. Glad you like it.

Looks good brad, not issues to report... Closed the program out several times and reloaded different logs, and all is well...

I have the same issue. Windows 7 here. I had to set my PC to always open as administrator.

Do you both have admin rights on your user accounts? I have been looking at the dragdrop feature and I cant get it to fail at all. Ive tried this on multiple machines here at the house. I'm sort of out of ideas other than trying re-installing the .net framework or check your user account privileges.

I have found the issue with not being able to drag and drop files to VD and it crashing instantly when some users start it up. Its a UAC issue and I've fixed it in the latest beta that Im about to test. Ill push an update out in the next day or so. The drag and drop will NOT work with UAC turned on as this is a known problem when using UAC.

Just released 1.1.7 which should fix some of the issues in 1.1.6. The big issue people were having with UAC should be addressed now. I tested it on multiple machines with UAC turned on and before it would give the error, and after this patch, no error. Hope you all enjoy as its a minor update but fixes some pretty hefty errors.

I posted a while ago that I was having the same issue with my work laptop on Windows 7 and just found out the other day that I can get it to work if I open as administrator. It's kind of a pain but fortunately I know the password... shhhhhh, don't tell anyone.

Thanks for the prompt reply Brad! My final sem just started, so I will shoot you an e-mail as soon as I can.

All of the prior versions worked fine on 7-64, but the attempt at downloading this new update sends it into a neverending cycle of download, install, reopen, and repeat. I had to temporarily DC from my network to break that and actually use the software lol. Is anyone else experiencing this?

//edit// False alarm haha... I totally forgot that I had another instance of it open from early in the morning. 'sall good now!
