Interesting remap in JDM car

Hey guys,

Recently purchased a JDM E7, cheap cheap as the owner had financial probs etc.
Anyhow story goes, 3 months ago it cracked the edge of piston 3, they threw a set of forgies in, replaced the fuel pump with a 9 pump and away they went.

Purchased a few weeks ago, it was going like a scalded cat, a little too fast for the very minimal mods of cat-back/intake/boost/map.
Decided to leave it in the garage til my wideband/limitless cable arrived and I could check it all out.

Here's the results of some of the maps, quite obvious why it cracked a piston really.
Car runs a perfectly stable 19psi peak, 18psi hold boost. (suspect 1.2bar actuator)
-Wideband a/f (with stock cat) were 12.5 at 4k, dropping til 12.1 at 7k
-Logged peak knock of 14 or so counts from 4.8k onwards.

And appears the tuner has copied the high ign map into the low map to stop it pulling timing! And did the nice job of doing to the same for the fueling.
Rev limit is at 8k.

Thoughts guys? Looks like a race fuel map to me just about.
Went great mid range though with no knock from a 3rd gear pull from 2.5k, so i'm thinking of copying all the map stuff into the current stock Evo 7 Ralliart map I threw on there to get it safely running for the moment and modify that from there.

Enjoy.

Definitely might want to pull a few degrees to get rid of the knock, you could start by pulling 1 degree for every knock count at a given RPM and then adjusting from there.

Can you post up a log?

Mmm... I'll probably get my fuel trims sorted at 11.7 target with this stock RA map as a base, then look at copying over the aggressive IGN map into the high IGN map and work on that from there.

It's like 2am here, ill post up a log tomorrow.

Cheers

Yep, poor car.
Hopefully it hasn't had too much damage done to it, i'd say the only reason why it hasnt' popped again is due to the forged pistons standing up to the carnage a little longer.

No idea who tuned it Ziad, BUT its been looked after by Meek 12m ago, I doubt they'd throw these maps on there surely though.

Attached the one and only log before reflashing.

and what fuel are you using in the car? do you want some tuning to extract some useable power? i can make a quick tune so you can atleast enjoy the thing safely.
