How to setup my 2step/ launch control

Hi guys I have been searching the forum and wasnt able to find an information on how to set up my launch control. So far all i know is how to change the rpm .I tried to do a datalog to see which load area it falls in when i engauge the 2 step so I can adjust the fuel n timing but it seems like thats not all to it. When I adjusted that area I stilll didnt build any boost. Also, Is the tephra mods alt maps used for this or just the main maps? any help would greatly be appreciated.

If you enable Launch Maps in the tephra mod options than you have to adjust in the Global Launch maps section the high oct ignition and fuel map

I dont have the launch maps in the tephra mods. Is it as simple as

1) Setting the launch rpm
2) Do a datalog to see which zone it falls in for the fuel and timing maps
3)Richen the mixture in that zone (to what afr?)
4)Pull back timing in that zone (to what degree?)

Can anyone explain it to me?

Pulling timing for launching in your main timing maps is retarded. You can and will hit those cells if you actually drive your car around.

Get the launch maps.

I have a JDM evo 7 and it does have to engauge the clutch for it to start. Also I changed to 90550001 ROM thanks to "burgers22" who sent it for me. This ROM has most of the stuff defined. Im just trying to understand how to set it up now

You need to use the same Tephra version of 90550001, to enable launch control.

No separate launch ignition/fuel for launch control in V5.1, just a working stationary rev limiter. You will have to wait for V7 for 90550001 if you want to make adjustments to stationary ignition etc.

Well until i get that version ill have to work with what i have. I manage to build 12psi at 5500 but no matter how i adjust the fuel it stays full lean.. Is that how its suppose to be?

Its because the two step on our cars actually cuts fuel. At least thats what I recall...
