service engine light
service engine light
I have a service engine light that is on, i scanned it at autozone and it tells me that im not getting any signal from my cam sensor. I just changed my cam and crank sensors. I also had to disable the immobilizer for my car to start bc a few weeks ago my car stalled on me and wouldn't start. It turned out to be the immobilizer after $200 in sensors. But now the car drives and runs fine but except that annoying service light is on. Any advice on how to disable it through Ecuflash?

I got it scanned at autozone and it says that there is no signal to the crank and cam sensors. How is that possible when my car runs and drives? I did just replace both sensors. I even try to reset the ECU by unplugging the neg terminal of the battery anf reflashing back to stock rom. Will the car crank and run with the sensors swapped?
Don't listen to Autozone ever again please.
I run the commercial section at an Autozone store....90% of the people in the company have never even changed their own brakes, yet alone know how to diagnostics your problem biased off a code.

thats what i thought at 1st also. But i then scanned it with a friends scan tool as well and it pulls the same thing. But evoscan wont pull any DTC
what was the actual DTC that was thrown? which cam sensor did you swap or did you do both?
PO365 is for the intake cam position sensor
PO340 is for the exhaust cam position sensor
figure out which sensor isn't getting signal and diagnose from there. probably a bad connection after you swapped stuff out. or if you used an autozone sensor the odds are good that the new sensor you bought was bad out of the box.
if the issue was not originally the OEM sensors i would try putting those back in.
