idle tables jacked up

Not sure what the hell happened, but my idle tables got...well...jacked up. I attempted to add the ISCV add on def's but they wouldn't show up in ecuflash. So I then erased the def's from the XML's and figured it didn't really matter. After I erased the def's, my normal idle tables are showing up as if the scalings were wrong.

I have gone over the xml's with a fine tooth comb to make sure I didn't miss anything, and I'm pretty sure I didn't. I even transferred over one the backup xml's and that didn't work. I then un-installed/re-installed ecuflash and that didn't work.

Please help me figure out what stupid thing I'm missing here.

Thanks in advance

Here are the 2 defs for the idle tables:

<table name="Target Idle RPM with AC On #1" category="Idle" address="1470" type="1D" scaling="RPMTarget"/>

<table name="Target Idle RPM with AC On #2" category="Idle" address="146c" type="1D" scaling="RPMTarget"/>
I'm using the "proper" definitions from MrFred's ISCV dissassembly for the ISCV tables, here they are :

<table name="ISCV Demand CTS Adder AC Off - Neutral (sub_1F1F8, sub_1EA0C, sub_1F596) [sub_1EFC0]" category="ISCV Control" address="3d38" type="2D" level="2" scaling="ISCV_AX2_8">
<table name="Coolant Temp" address="70c2" type="Y Axis" elements="8" scaling="Temp"/>
</table>

<table name="ISCV Demand CTS Adder AC On - Neutral (sub_1F2C6) [sub_1EFC0]" category="ISCV Control" address="3d4c" type="2D" level="2" scaling="ISCV_AX2_8">
<table name="Coolant Temp" address="70c2" type="Y Axis" elements="8" scaling="Temp"/>
</table>

Thanks Rap but it's still not working. I'm not sure what's going on. I've checked the scaling def's and all that compared to stock xml files and they're all good. The tables are fine when I pull up a stock 88590015 bin and I've compared those xml's. I'm completely lost with something so basic and simple that I've done hundreds of times.
Poop.

NM figured it out! Somehow the 'elements' figure of '8' was missing in the table def's. Close thread please due to weirdness and stupidity.

Just a heads up folks...
This xml I was using was DL'd from the tephra xml pack and I have found some other discrepancies. Along with the few idle tables being incorrect, the Max total WG vs TPS and accel enrichment (incorrect) was also wrong. The address's for those other tables were wrong.

I never notices cuz I never mess with those tables..just a heads up

I had noticed as well. I fixed them in my xml. The correct accel enrichment settings can be found in a regulat 88590015 rom. I cant remember how I had fixed the max upward wgdc correction table, but it was an easy fix

Another interesting thing is going on here now...
I'm unable to have the expanded ISCV tables populate on my 88590715 bin. They will however pop up on the normal 885 rom/bin. I've expanded this xml with a few things already, I'm not sure why this expansion won't take.

Any ideas welcome, cause I'm at a loss on this one.

Are you talking about all the tables from MrFred ISCV dissassembly thread? Make sure your user level is at Developper, I think those tables require it.

Those are the tables I am refering to. It's set to Developer, and like I said, they work for the normal 885 rom/bin file which is why I'm confused. I have added a few other expansions to my v7 xml/bin so I don't understand why this set won't work. Weird.

A few stupid/easy questions coming up... Not trying to be condescending, just getting them out of the way so we don't have to worry about them later on.

- Are you checking the right part of the rom for the new ISCV tables? They show up in their own category at the bottom of the rom, not in the Idle section.

- Are you sure you're editing the correct xml? 88590715, not 88590015.

- Did you restart Ecuflash after editing the xml?

if you've done all that then I don't see why they wouldn't show up... If you open a stock v7 rom, do they show up then? If you want, pm me your email addy and I'll send you my v7 xml.

No worries about being condescending I understand you need to cover the basics.
To answer your questions...yes, yes, and yes. It's so weird, I've got other add-ons to the xml that show up and work perfectly fine. Pm me your email address and I'll send you a copy of my xml and bin file.
Much appreciated man

EDIT: Something's going on with my program here... I just erased one of my add-on's, saved, re-opened ecuflash, yada yada and that add-on was still there. I'm using version 1.43.300 FWIW.

EDIT: Figured it out...again lol. I uninstalled ecuflash with revo uninstaller to erase all the 'crap', reinstalled ecuflash, added my custom xml and all is right in my little world again. Thanks for the help Rap
