so today i failed the M.A.C inspection again for the 5th time.. wat the hell.. this guy is driving me crazy// ive gone there with completely bone stock maps and he still cryies about that ecu.. cause of the readiness and the monitors.. i dont know where he is getting his specs but wat ever he is trying to match to mine must be wrong.. anyone have any ideas or info.. please... this is drving me insane..

 

i think your tech is being honest with you. i do inspections in another state. readiness monitors must be completed to pass inspection, that means that your car has to go thru all tested systems, including evap, egr, catalyst, o2 sensors, etc. just make sure your car does all these tests and they all pass and there should not be a problem. if you have codes turned off, make sure they give a good monitor result and that they dont just prevent the car from testing the system. if your inspection is anything like ours, the tech has no choice on the monitors, he can not "make it pass". good luck!

 

i get wat you mean.. but i have a complete stock map.. so everything that he is looking for should be there.. i just dont get wat he wants.. is there anyway i can bring my car to a shop to have them check my monitors before i go over to the inspection..
