Plug and play HP upgrade map?

I've tried searching as this seems to be the noobiest of noob questions, but is there a map that can be flashed to my stock X that will provide a safe increase in power with no additional tuning?

I've read about the tephramod, but I wasn't sure if it just unlocked new features for tuning, or if it actually provided a boost in horsepower.

I've read up on the Cobb AP, but I was hoping to use ecuflash.

I used ecuflash and is great and i love it but if you want ecuflash i will recommend and custom tune for your car. I am pretty sure that ppl have shelf maps for the ecuflash too but i will just got with ecuflash if you planning of learning about tuning and going on the future plus all depends on the tuner you going to be using too because some of then prefer ecuflash and some other the cobb. I had both but since i do e-tune is easier on the ecuflash for most of the tuners that do the e-tune. ( It just my opinion i am not an expert) :-)

get a tactrix cable ~$150, evoscan for ~$25, and a Clipse e-tune. It will be cheaper than the accessport, and MUCH better for your car =)

The Tactrix cable from their site is $180 with the Mitsu adapter. Where can I get it for $150?

$169 for the openport 2.0 which is what you need.

Grab the extension cable too for $15 if you don't want the cable in the way of your pedals.

Safe is a relative term with any modification.

There are Gunzo maps out there that might be of use to you.
