i only ever ran into that issue once and it was with a evo 7 with a evo 8 ecu i believe and 9653 universal rom. i had to patch the xml and then modify values on the rom as i explained to you in pm.

I would have to dig for the info, i honestly dont remember how i did it now.

 

Which ROM are you running? I had to modify the ROM with a patch from (I think) ziad to get 2-step to work on my 8 MR running 96260709. The clutch switch isn't used at all for 2-step on Tephra.

 

How would I know which ROM it is I am using?

 

Out of the Tephra XML's I have in the folder I see I have 4 9653 roms..

Any other 2003 JDM Evo VIII's using Tephra and have 2 step enabled?

 

I've got a JDM 2004 8 MR, 2-step works for me.

96260709, but I had it working on 96530706 before with some small changes. The XML changes for 9653 are on this board somewhere but I'm sorry I don't have the time to go searching. I think it was ziad that had them?

How did u fix this? I am facing same issue. 2 step works on old roms but not the tephra v7 one.Rom id is 96530706.
