That's false. Knock voltage is below 1v. Typically, around 2v is acceptable.

So.. Every time that I found a knock sum and knock voltage under 2v it's fake and I don't care about it?

Very bad assumption.

Knock voltage has never been an item I've logged or requested anyone to log. Timing and/or drastic fuel changes can cause knock, along with bumpy roads, loose nuts and bolts, things touching one another, and the list goes on.

ok, so... there is a good way to determine that the knock fake?

I read some post in forum but I dont figure it out.

The knock series in the log happened with first gear! seems to strange the octane flag variations!!

This is why I said "typically". Knock voltage is an excellent parameter to log. Especially in this case. Load is ~100, knock voltage is ~.7v, TPS is around 20-30%, and it doesn't have 90* of timing in it. I highly doubt that's real knock.

My bad, it wasn't directed at anything you said. Just letting him know not to assume anything when attempting to learn how to tune.

All good man. Hopefully he reads my follow up post before he adds a bunch of timing elsewhere...lol

It's all the opposite.
I start from base map and after found a right afr... I'm going to pull down timing where knock.

If that load is correct and its at 3k RPM i wouldn't say thats real BUT from my new understanding of using Ecuflash and tuning these cars, Evo8426 is correct. Timing or fueling jumping from one place to another can easily dick things around.

Load and rpm are correct... I think timing are correct for load/rpm combination...it's too strange a knock counter high like that...

Not really, it is very common. Some cars are very sensitive in this area. Treat it as real knock.

Just pull some timing in that area and see if it goes away. That will tell you if it is real or not.
