Identifying Rom & Help Logging

I have read the rom off my ECU and attached it. Is there a way to figure out what the rom is? Tephra or not etc.?

Also I'm trying to use the SD card logging and can't seem to get it working right. I gave up trying to set RPM triggers and just use the provided sample/starting Mitsubishi log file that comes with the software. When I try to load that log file into EvoScan I get errors that i've attached screen shots for. Also is there a database for which paramaters can be logged like AFR? Since the starting log file doesn't have AFR just AFRMap

Datazap link- https://datazap.me/u/turbosid/evo-log?log=0&data=18

Any help is appreciated, i've browsed around the forums and searched but seems like the basic stuff is harder to find.

It's a stock Evo 9 88590015 ROM. Get Evoscan so you can open it yourself.

how are you trying to log your wideband? Do you have it wired into your ecu or are you using an innovate wideband plugged into the openport 2.0?

I am not specifically trying to log from a wideband. Just trying to get the log from SD on the openport 2.0 to work correctly in Evoscan. I will take a friend out in the car tomorrow with Evoscan connected to do some logs that way. Also trying to edit the logcfg.txt file but have no idea where to go from the basic sample file provided with EcuFlash from Tactrix.

You can only log AFR if you have installed wideband. The Evo is not equipped with a wideband oxygen sensor from the factory. How you set that up in your logcfg.txt file will depend on how you hook up the wideband.

Also the mut requests you will be logging will be dependent on what kind of modifications you have or have not made to your mut table and what rom you are running. For example a tephramod rom will have 1-byte load logging vs the stock rom which you will need to log 2 bytes and combine them.

I guess you don't have ECUFlash then. You do know that you're in the ECUFlash forum - right?

i think he is trying to get his logs formatted correctly to work with map tracer in evoscan. I'll post up my config file later, it wont work for logging your car, but you can see how its formatted and use it as a model to get yours to work.

; you can also set an OBD pin to a voltage, ground, or a high impedance state
; the first number is the OBD pin number, the second number is the pin voltage with the following values:
;
; 8000-18000 : voltage in millivolts for OP2 Rev C and earlier
; 5000-25000 : voltage in millivolts for OP2 Rev D and later
; -1 : set pin to high impedance (default state)
; -2 : pull pin to ground
;
; keep in mind that if you are applying a non-zero voltage to more than one pin, all of those voltages
; must be the same

; the following setpinvoltage sets OBD pin 1 to ground, which is needed to enable logging on older Mitsubishis
; it is commented out as it is not needed for newer models (e.g. EVO 8/9)
;

The car has an AEM Wideband. The car has basic bolt ons, stock turbo MBC. Previous owner said it dynoed 350whp. Once this quarantine is over I will take it to a local evo shop to give me a rundown on everything. I got the car in February and all i've done so far is change all of the fluids.

I do have EcuFlash... give me more credit than that haha

Correct. I see your next post, thank you for that. All i had was the base file that's included with EcuFlash
