Evo 6 ECU's Boost pressure
Evo 6 ECU's Boost pressure
Have just fiited a Rallyart ECU (Rally) ,cant feel any significant improvement in the performance, maybe slight decrease in lag. do you have to manually increase and set boost pressure or should that be done electronically. Ralliart part No for ECU is RA420996R1

what claudius said..
first i suggest u get a boost gauge installed to check what's going on..
then get a boost controller to get the steadiest boost.. which can be had very cheap, by the way..

I run 1.55 bar of boost with a Blitz SBC-iD3 boost controller + uprated fuel pump .
The fueling's spot-on on stck injector ect.....
For "spirited" driving i find that 1.4 bar is just right in term's of spool up drivability.

Claudius,
I have an Australian delivered 6.5 TME, and have looked for the restrictor shown in the service manual (at the turbo end of the Tee piece), but can't find one.
Do you mean to put in a restrictor?
Would appreciate more details please. (hole size and location etc)
I can't get mine to go over 15 PSI even with the boost control solenoid open 100%
Cheers
