Well i hope you dont get hated on by others like i have. I was one of the first if not the first 8 in germany and some one slashed one of my tires. At first i thought it was just some piece of metal i ran over till i pulled a gerber blade out. My car was lowered and he had a hard time hiding it cause i didnt have much tire gap. Also you will get looks both good and bad. Good for the germans bad from some for the americans. Best of luck!

Wong that happens here in the states daily. I am not worried about it. I would really like a place in K-Town with a garage if I can find it. I just got promoted to E-6 so OHA isn't a problem. I will pay what it takes to get a garage!

I just got my assignment to Ramstein today. I am pumped. I am wondering how long it takes to ship my evo from here in Korea to there. Also, I am starting to get the death whine, anywhere that can fix it?

Are you Army or Air Force ? us ARMY dudes dnt get an option on where to stay on post or off post.. no matter what rank we are. Housing is a bish compare to the Air Force where they pretty much do what they want..! Anyways if you get away with it.. good luck.. let me know how it goes cuz from what I heard in the ARMY our OHA is set for what the lease is, so pretty much you cover utilities out of your own pocket.

Ever since the Euro took over.. The German Economy is not a great as it used to be.. sometimes it sucks BIG TIME.. like when you run out of fuel cupons..lol

OHA is whatever your lease is for, if your rent is less than the maximum allowance you only get that amount. We also get a Utility allowance of around $550 and a daily COLA rate.

60 days out and I have a few questions? I plan to set-up the suspension and get wheels when I get their. Are there any speed shop/tuners around the KMC area and is getting parts shipped a *****? Where do you buy your fluids at and are their hobby shops with lifts over their. I am putting on my winter tires now and getting ready to ship it shortly. Thanks in advance

RedlineZ if worse comes to worse you can always come down to where im at i just passed inspection with summer tires in the winter worn brake pads and an open dump GT35R as far as suspention me and Redline06 go to the same guy for everything he really knows his ****! He did my tein Super Race suspention and adjusted the camber alittle for better EXTREAM cornering. Shipping things here i dont use APO or FPO i use fedex and have to go to Frankfurt to pick up my parts from customs duty free but its ok cause the shop i get my stuff done at is like 20 min away from the airport.

Holy ****! I just got off the phone with USAA and Geico and they want anywhere from $5000-$7000 a year for insurance ! I pay $150 a month now and can't imagine that payment, hell it's as much as I am paying to own the damn car.

WTF are you guys doing to get good rates over their? Im 26 and have a good driving record.

I just started a new policy with USAA last week. full coverage for 2003 evo and 2007 BMW 328i = about $150/month. 31/married/good driving record.
