Im Moving to Germany!

I am going to be stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany. I am taking my Evo with me I just hate the idea of a front plate, any alternative to drilling your bumper or covering the IC? Well let me know what to expect when I get their. Who are the big Evo guys in Germany? Thanks

Cool I def. will post it up here in this sub-forum, I am going to live in K-Town. What should I expect bringing a modded Evo to Europe. Is the inspection forgiving? Do the shipping companies mess with your car? Fill me in

well yeah u might have somethings ****ed with, and a couple of dings, but once u get it there be sure to do the inspection with them of car,and you will get reimburst for it.and we have a shop for decent prices that will fix it too.so no worrys.well a lot of laws have been past.but if u have ur cat,and no tint, and a good set of tires you should be good.

Ah man the car is spotless! I hope luck is on my side with this one. I have a HFC and no tint so I have nothing to worry about. By messed with you mean stolen?? I am starting to document everything installed and purchased on the car so their is no question as to what happened to it.

How long can I drive with a US plate before fabing a mount for the Euro plate? What insurance do you guys have?

Tires gotta be in shape as well dude.. and when you get your car you must provide insurance proof.. with the famous "double whites" and from there they will issue you them ugly white VA plates.. and ten give you that inspection sheet. once you pass that bish you get euro plates.. I beleive its only the guys in belgium who i've seen run around with stateside plates on there car but that is different..

Anyways about the plate might have someone harass you about it not being mounted in the front.. I did and so did sauce4u, but his story ids funny..

so i just gave up and decided to mount mine oh well.. i learned to live with it.. but yeah.. having the long euro plates would be tight.. so if you have a JDM bumper.. might aswell get the front europlate bracket.. and have long europlates..

I will make a mount before I leave so I don't have to drill my bumper. I will drill it underneath the air ducts in the bumper and make an alluminum mounting plate with rubber backing.

I am looking at USAA, as it will be the best, Thanks!

I'm Air Force.

February! I talked to my sponsor on base and they told me my exhaust cannot be over 95db at the inspection. Is this at idle? Because my Buschur is quiet untill the gate opens, so hopefully they don't rev the **** out of it. Anyone know?
