yeah, I've been here for a year already.. Redline-Z I think he just got here or is coming here.!

Anyways, yeah a cat back wont mess anything up.. it wont affect your ECU in way that you have to worry about it.. Expect more power, a bit more faster spool up as it has less back pressure.. and louder than stock that's all.. it wont get super loud till you open here up with a down pipe and test pipe..

I alomst got it to start yesterday, I took all the plugs out and they were wet from trying to start it. I let the chambers dry over night and it alomst started. I am picking up my new ones today at GK and hopefully this will help. All electrical connections are tip-top and no engine codes? I also got a ticket for it sitting their! Thanks SP's! I have seen alot of Evo's around the KMC hopefully we can arrange a meet this spring and take a run. Wish my car luck.

wet plug, huh? oh no, sound like something i had back in the states when i mailed in an ecu flash. car would almost start then die. then wouldn't come close to starting again. the car would sit overnight and the next day, same thing. i pulled the plugs and they were soaked. looked into the plug cylinder and you could see gas in there. tried new plugs and the same thing. turned out the ecu was toast. the car thought that the engine was at 16000 rpms (or something ridiculous like that) and told the injectors to dump gas into the cylinder (i was with the tech at the dealership and he was like WTF....
there was nothing i could do but replace the ECU.

Fired right up with the new plugs! We'll see but the A/F's are spot on and the car pulls just like it did before shipment. The plugs were carbon fouled, had spark but just not enough I guess. We'll see. I bought the at GK in Einsedlehof for 50 Euro which isnt't to bad considering he had them in stock the next morning. See you guys around.

Yep, I know Nick. Looking forward to some fun runs.

Edit: Damn, I've been reading some things about inspections and I'm getting worried if my car will pass or not. The main things is that I don't have a cat and I'm not sure if it would pass the DB noise test. I have a very slow small oil leak and I haven't had the chance to look around to see where its coming from. I also read about cars older than 1993 won't get the emissions sticker so I won't be able to drive in certain city's? I also have some rust under the car, nothing major though.

I'm not sure If want to bring the car or not now for fear it won't pass.

I would start looking for a used stock exhaust and just throw it on for the ride over, then you could use it to do the emmisions tests also. Tmo your exhaust, bring plugs and oil filters and anything you can buy their cheaply for routine maintenance. You have plenty of time to get it done
