To the naysayers that have spool concerns, 4200 isn't bad considering that the majority of stock IX turbos hit full boost somewhere around 3300-3600 depending on set up and other things considered.

4200 doesn't seem too bad. Doesn't GREEN reach full boost by 3900-4000?

Will 1000cc be enough for E85 at around 30psi on single walbro? Anyone that has any experience with E85 on the red please chime in as I am trying to decide what fuel to run. I just dont want to run out of fuel at like 25 psi.

I know there are too many factors involved to call this a simple black and white question, but from what I am seeing, average WHP for a red appears to be from the high 3++whp range to mid 400s, am I right in assuming this (assume stock block, 93, and usual supportting mods)? I am just wondering where the red is providing optimal performance while not completely maxxing out the capabilities of the turbo, or the vehicle.

There's EVO's making 500WHP plus with the turbo at higher boost levels...

i dont have my graph but I dynoed at 490whp at 30psi on 93 and meth. I ran a 12.5@119mph with a bad 60ft time(2.0 60ft). Then I ported the turbine housing and the stock mani added a light weight pulley and ran a 11.6@123.5mph(1.7 60ft) without even trying hard on snow tires. For some reason I couldnt get a good launch the first time out with the red. Seems like the car just wanted to bog no matter how much I slipped the clutch and the two step is set to 6k. Also it seemed like it just wasnt opening up like it should. After porting I was able to launch without a problem. going back this sat to see if some c16 and more boost can net me some 10'S.

That's amazing! Great numbers! Seems like porting is a must with these pieces...

They arent dynoing my car today, but they expect to have it dynoed next week.

Power mods on the car to be dynoed are as follows:

Ported FP Red turbo
Buschur Turbo-back exhaust (test-pipe)
EPM 02 Dump
Kelford 272 cams
Beehive springs & retainers
Perrin FMIC
RMR IC piping
RMR Intake w/Perrin filter
Hallman MBC
Buschur Racing ported/coated stock manifold
PTE 1200CC Injectors
Buschur Dual Fuel pump

Stock ECU tune
E-85 @ 30psi

I'll post up the results next week. Hopefully the old girl holds together.

You would be pushing the limits of your fuel system. 1200CC injectors and two fuel pumps is ideal for FP Red on E-85 at the 30psi sweet spot.
